Steps:
- Marinate the steak in the Worcester sauce for 10 mins and sprinkle over the black pepper.
- Cook the pasta according to pack instructions, drain, then toss with the spring onions, peppers and basil. Mix the dressing ingredients together, season, then set aside.
- Heat the barbecue or a griddle pan until very hot. Cook the steak for 3 mins on each side, or until cooked to your liking. Cut into thick slices, then toss into the pasta with the dressing. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve.

GRILLED STEAK SALAD WITH HORSERADISH DRESSING
A colourful tomato salad livens up this speedy, healthy supper of marinated lean beef steak with hot mustard sauce

Steps:
- Rub the steak on both sides with the crushed celery seeds, some seasoning and the Worcestershire sauce. Brush with olive oil and leave to marinate while you prepare the salad.
- Mix the dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Divide the celery and tomatoes between 2 plates. Heat a griddle pan over a high heat, then cook the meat for 2-3 mins on each side (depending on how thick your steaks are). Remove from the heat and leave to rest, covered with foil, for 5 mins.
- Slice the steaks and place on top of the salads, pour the dressing over and scatter over the celery leaves.

PDQ HOT BEEF SANDWICHES
An original recipe from my good friend Vicki! She isn't very computer literate so asked me to post this. I made this for Christmas and it was a hit! Can be prepared the day before which makes it very handy for busy holidays!

Steps:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Place the roast in the pan, and brown on all sides.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, and pour in the chili sauce, water, and vinegar. Season with chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder and white sugar. Simmer over medium-low heat for 3 hours, or until meat is fork tender. Remove beef, and refrigerate overnight. Reserve sauce, and refrigerate.
- Slice or shred beef, and place in a large pot on the stove with the sauce. Heat through, and serve alone, or on your favorite sandwich buns.

- Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. Place in a large bowl; add the beef, green pepper, celery, onion, red pepper, pickle and green onions. , For dressing, in a large bowl, dissolve bouillon in water. Stir in the milk, mayonnaise, sour cream, dill and pepper. Toss with pasta mixture. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
