HONEY ROASTED PECANS IN AIR FRYER
Steps:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pecans and honey. With a spatula mix until the pecans are coated.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt over the pecans and mix until the spices are evenly coating the pecans.
- Pour into the air fryer basket and cook at 300 degrees F for 5 minutes, shake the basket and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Continue until you have a nice golden color on the pecans. It took me 13 minutes.
- Pour the pecans on a baking sheet and spread them evenly. They will be hot and sticky. Allow them to cool completely before putting them into an airtight container.
- Serve and Enjoy!

- Stop halfway through and shake the basket, to make sure they're roasting evenly. You can cook them for additional 2 minutes if you want them extra toasty.
- Once golden, transfer pecans to a plate and let them cool completely before storing in a container or a jar.

- Pour melted butter onto the lined basket. Mix egg white, sugar, and cinnamon together in a bowl. Add pecans and toss until fully coated. Spread out in the lined basket.
- Air fry for 5 minutes. Shake basket and air fry for 5 minutes more. Shake basket again and air fry for an additional 2 to 4 minutes.

HONEY ROASTED PECANS
These are wonderful as a snack, part of a holiday basket, added to salads, as a topping to pumpkin pie or sweet potato casserole. They do get pretty sticky if exposed to moisture, my daughter loves them and calls them "sticky nuts." They are HIGHLY addictive, make a lot!

- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place pecans in an even layer on baking sheet. Roast 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and place in large bowl.
- In saucepan combine honey and pecans. Cook over medium high heat, stirring until mixture simmers and foams (about 4-6 min).
- Transfer to a baking sheet (lined with wax paper for easy clean up) and separate with fork. Cool completely. Store in air tight container.
