Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 (1 lb) can chopped tomatoes, undrained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) package noodles
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

Brown ground beef, onion, bell pepper.
Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add tomatoes, salt, soup.
Allow to simmer while cooking noodles according to package directions.
Drain noodles.
Add cooked noodles and 1/2 of the cheese to meat mixture.
Pour into casserole dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

1 pound ground beef
1 (14-ounces) can diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano
1 (10-ounces) can diced tomatoes & green chilies
1 can tomato paste
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
5 green onions, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 (3-ounces) package cream cheese, softened
1 (4-ounces) cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 (4-ounces) cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 (4-ounces) cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

Cook beef in large skillet over medium heat, stirring often, 8 minutes or until meat crumbles and is no longer pink. Stir in diced tomatoes with basil and next 5 ingredients. Bring to boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Remove form heat. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook egg noodles in boiling salted water as package directs. Drain. Stir together hot cooked noodles, chopped green onions, sour cream and cream cheese until blended. Spoon noodle mixture into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. top with beef mixture; sprinkle with shredded cheeses in order listed. Bake, covered, for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving. Freeze assembled, unbaked casserole up to 1 month, if desired. Thaw in refrigerator overnight. Bake as directed.

2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup canned chopped green chilies
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Steps:

Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomato sauce, onions, chilies, garlic and salt. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream. Drain noodles. , Place 1/2 cup beef mixture in a 1-qt. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Layer with half of the noodles, cream cheese mixture and cheese. Spread 1/2 cup beef mixture over cheese; repeat layers. Spoon remaining beef mixture over top. , Cover and bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.
