Homemade Lemon Infused Vodka Lemon Vodka Tonic Food

HOMEMADE LEMON-INFUSED VODKA & LEMON VODKA TONIC

Steps:

• Place lemons and vodka in the jar; seal. Place in a dark, cool place.
• Test for flavor after one week. Continue to taste until vodka has taken on the depth of flavor you prefer; remove and discard lemons, seal jar and enjoy!
• Fill a tall glass with desired amount of crushed ice. Add lemon-infused vodka and fill with tonic water.

LEMON INFUSED VODKA RECIPE

Steps:

• Gather the ingredients.
• In a 1-quart (or larger) jar, pour the vodka and add the lemon peels. Seal, shake, and let infuse for 4 to 7 days. Shake the jar daily and test the infusion after the third or fourth day to see how the flavor develops.
• Once the infusion reaches your desired flavor intensity, strain out and discard the lemon peels using a fine-mesh strainer.
• Bottle the lemon vodka under a tight seal. Store in a cool, dark place as you would other liquors, and use in your favorite drinks.

LEMON VODKA

Steps:

• In a saucepan, bring the juice, zest and sugar to a boil. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Cool.
• In a bottle or a sealed glass container, combine the syrup and vodka. Allow to infuse in a dark area for 7 or more days.
• Place a coffee filter in a strainer and filter the alcohol.
• Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
• Delicious after a winter activity. This lemon vodka is served in shot glass, in cocktails and martinis.

LEMON GINGER INFUSED VODKA

Steps:

• Poke lemons with skewer or sticks to release flavor.
• Slice ginger into small slices.
• Place both into bottle or other appropriate container that has lid.
• Fill jar with vodka and let sit for 2 weeks.
• Strain and pour into decorative decanter or bottle.
