I'd thought of Longshot as a shotgun powder-- slow burning, not producing optimal velocities in pistols. The data, though, show that it produces energy levels at the higher end, and somewhat comparable velocities. Is this accurate?

WEB Aug 7, 2008 According to the Hodgdon reloading guide they don't show a listing for 1200fps using Longshot in a Federal 20ga hull with 7/8oz payload. The slowest they show is 1300fps. This is a little on the stout side for skeet. Have any of you, with success, downloaded the recipe (s) for Longshot to obtain this kind of velocity? Thanks, ec90t.
