1 pkg. (30 oz.) ORE-IDA Country Style Hash Brown Potatoes
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 pkt. (0.7 oz.) all American burger seasoning mix
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans, peas)
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 jar (12 oz.) HEINZ HomeStyle Savory Beef Gravy

Steps:

  • Prepare potatoes as directed on package.
  • Meanwhile, brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium heat; drain. Return meat to skillet. Add seasoning mix and mixed vegetables; mix well. Cook 3 to 5 min. or until vegetables are heated through, stirring occasionally. Top with cheese; cover. Cook 2 min. or until cheese is melted. While potatoes are cooking, cook gravy in saucepan on medium-low heat until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve potatoes topped with meat mixture and gravy.

3 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 package (16 ounces) frozen California-blend vegetables
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup whole milk
12 ounces process cheese (Velveeta), cubed
1 can (2.8 ounces) french-fried onions

Steps:

  • Place potatoes in a lightly greased 5-qt. slow cooker; sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Spoon over potatoes. Top with vegetables. Combine soup and milk; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 4-1/2 hours. , Top with cheese; cover and cook 30 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Just before serving, sprinkle with french-fried onions.

1/4 cup butter
5 medium boiling potatoes, cooked, peeled, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
salt and pepper, to taste
2 (4 ounce) packages sliced smoked ham, cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips
4 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes, seasoned salt, salt, and pepper. Cook until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Add ham. Cook 3 minutes, tossing gently. Reduce heat to low.
  • Beat eggs with milk. Pour eggs over potato mixture. Turn hash with spatula until egg is well incorporated and cooked through, 3-4 minutes. Garnish hash with parsley.

2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes
1 large onion
3/4 cup celery, diced
4 cups water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
4 cups milk
2 cups ham, fully cooked and diced
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • In a soup kettle or Dutch oven combine the first 7 ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Mash vegetables with cooking liquid
  • Add soup and milk, stir until smooth.
  • Add ham, parsley and garlic salt. Simmer for 10 minutes or until heated through.
  • Garnish with bacon.

1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
5 large potatoes, mashed with
milk, and
butter
2 (10 ounce) cans beef gravy
1 (14 ounce) can peas and carrots (drained)

Steps:

  • In a large skillet brown ground beef and onion with pepper, garlic,and chili powder. Drain.
  • Add peas and carrots and gravey and let cook over med/low heat for 25-30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook and mash your potatoes with butter and milk (or whip, which I prefer)and stir your potatoes into your meat mixture NOTE: the smaller you cut your potatoes the faster they cook.
  • Serve with bread and butter.
