I got this from a bag of Nestles Chocolate Chips years ago. The recipe is for the Original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies. This is the one I always make because they are delicious.

2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup soft butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

In a large mixing bowl combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat till creamy.
Add eggs.
Add the flour, soda, and salt; mix well.
Add the chips and nuts.
Drop on ungreased sheet.
375 degree oven for 9-11 minutes.

2 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c butter, softened
1 c brown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 2/3 c m&ms (reserve 1/2 cup for decorating)

Steps:

1. Position one of your oven racks in the middle of your oven and preheat your oven to 375F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper for best results. Otherwise, use ungreased cookie sheets.
2. In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt and baking soda until well blended.
3. 3.In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter (or shortening) and sugars with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy (This will take several minutes). Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula to make sure everything is well blended.
4. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until creamy; Stir in flour mixture with a wooden spoon just until blended; Stir in 1 1/2 cups M&Ms.
5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Press several additional M&Ms into each cookie.
6. Bake one cookie sheet at a time in the middle rack of the oven for 9 to 12 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges and just set in the center.
7. Remove from the oven and transfer the cookies with a thin metal spatula to a wire rack to cool completely.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup sugar
5 tablespoons cocoa (Fry's Coco)
1 egg
1 3/4 cups graham wafer crumbs
1/2 cup almonds
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons bird's custard mix
2 cups icing sugar
4 (1 ounce) semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Steps:

BOTTOM LAYER: Melt first 3 ingredients in top of a double boiler.
Add egg and stir to cook and thicken Remove from heat.
Stir in crumbs, coconut and nuts.
Press firmly into an ungreased 8 X 8 pan.
SECOND LAYER: Cream butter, cream, custard powder and icing sugar together well.
Beat until light.
Spread over bottom layer.
THIRD LAYER: Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.
Cool
When cool, but still liquid, pour over second layer and chill in refrigerator.
