Steps:
- Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain fat.
- Add beef and all ingredients except the pasta into a large crock pot. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Before serving, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and add to soup.
- Serve in bowls topped with parmesan cheese and parsley if desired. Also, we love to serve this soup with crusty bread, breadsticks, or cornbread.

- In a large heavy pot, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Stir in onion and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in garlic, celery, and carrots and cook for 3 minutes. Add dried basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes and toss to coat. Stir in tomatoes and stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. If necessary add an additional cup of stock or water and stir in beans and tiny pasta. Simmer for 6-8 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stir in parsley and serve hot with grated Parmesan and ground black pepper.

- Brown and crumble ground beef. Drain excess grease. Add into the slow cooker.
- Add all the other ingredients to the slow cooker (except for pasta) and stir.
- Cover and set slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours

- Brown the ground turkey in a large saucepan or pot over medium heat. Strain the fat.
- Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic and sauté for 10 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients, except pasta, and simmer for 1 hour.
- About 50 minutes into simmer time, cook the pasta in 1 1/2 to 2 quarts of boiling water over high heat. Cook for 10 minutes or just until pasta is al dente, or slightly tough. Drain.
- Add the pasta to the large pot of soup.
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes and serve.
- ***I sometimes cook the noodles and leave out of the soup-this way, the guests can add as many as they would like and it freezes better without the noodles in it!

- Cook the beef in the oil in a large stockpot, breaking it up until it starts to brown. Add the onions, carrots, celery, and tomatoes and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add the beans, beef broth, oregano, pepper, Tabasco, and marinara sauce. Simmer until celery and carrots are tender, about 45 minutes. Add the pasta and simmer until it's cooked.
- Stir in the parsley before serving.

PASTA E FAGIOLI
Steps:
- Heat olive oil over medium high in a 6 quart Dutch oven or large soup pot. Add Italian sausage and ground beef. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until no pink remains. Remove to a platter using a slotted spoon. Reserve 3 Tbsp drippings in pot.
- To the drippings, add carrots, celery, onion and garlic. Let vegetables simmer over medium heat until tender and beginning to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add in tomato sauce, vegetable broth, beef broth, canned diced tomatoes, kidney beans, cannellini beans, Italian sausage, ground beef, vinegar, bay leaves, sugar, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Let the soup simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove bay leaves and add cooked ditalini pasta. Mix well and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
- Serve garnished with parsley and fresh parmesan cheese.
