HAMBURGER PATTIES WITH MASHED POTATOES & STUFFING
I always keep Instant mashed potatoes, some kind of stuffing, & brown gravy in my pantry. I also always have ground beef in the freezer. This is my last minute to go dish, or my quick & easy meal. I make it once a month & my family loves it. Some times if I have it on hand & time I make steam corn to go with it...

GRANDMA'S HAMBURGER DRESSING/STUFFING
I just love this recipe. I've never written it down and I hope this is pretty close, because I always just make it by heart. As a child I always demanded this during Thanksgiving and Xmas. It's a savory and delicious side dish anytime. UPDATE: Just went home to Michigan and found copy my grandmother wrote down and this recipe is EXACT! It's scaled down 1/3 so make double and triple this recipe if you have a large family, because I GUARANTEE they'll love it!

SPARROW'S HAMBURGER PILE-UP
I've made this dish for my kids while they were growing up but my granddaughter Sparrow really took a shine to it. Whenever I ran out of ideas for what to fix her for dinner (she lived with me for a while) her answer was "that hamburger pile-up!" So this is named in honor of her.

MEAT AND POTATO PATTIES
During World War II, when meat was rationed and had to be purchased with tokens, this recipe went a long way in feeding a family. To this day, I still reach for it whenever I want something different from regular hamburgers. By the way, children really like these (just as I did when I was a child!).- Gladys Klein, Burlington Wisconsin
