This is something new that our family tried that I got from a magazine. We were surprised that we would all like it so much! It doesn't take very much time at all so it is great when time is limited.

1 lb ground beef
1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles (I prefer beef flavor)
2 cups water
2 cups vegetables (frozen mixed veggies, thawed; peas and corn work perfect!)

Steps:

  • In a skillet, cook beef until no longer pink; drain.
  • Add noodles with contents of seasoning packet and water.
  • Bring to a boil; cook for 3 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  • Add the veggies and cook until tender, about 3 minutes as well.
  • Makes about 4 servings.
  • Here is another way to do it: Cook the beef as stated previously. During this time, heat up a saucepan of water to cook the ramen noodles in. Rather than just using 1 packet, use 2 packets of the beef flavor ramen noodles. When cooking the noodles, cook them without the flavoring. During this time, (after you drain the ground beef) add the veggies to the meat and continue to cook. As the veggies become cooked, add the two packets of flavoring to the beef-veggie mixture. The ramen noodles don't take long to cook, so be sure to watch them. When they are done, drain them, and add them to the beef-veggie mixture. The completed dish will have more flavor, and more noodles for the noodle lovers! Enjoy!

1 lb Oven Ready Onion Medley Little Potatoes (cooked and diced (or leftover cooked potatoes))
1 lb lean ground beef
1 shallot (diced)
2 tbsp salted butter
salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • If you aren't using leftover roasted or cooked potatoes, you'll need to prepare some. These Oven Ready/Grill Ready Little Potatoes couldn't be easier. They come in an aluminum baking tray and the seasonings are already provided.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble the ground beef along with the diced shallot. Season well with salt and pepper.
  • Drain any excess grease, place 2 tablespoons of butter into the pan to melt.
  • Put cooked beef back into the pan, then add in the diced Little Potatoes. Turn the heat up and season the mixture with salt and pepper and stir.
  • Using the back of a spatula, press down on the hash mixture. This will help the the beef and potatoes to get a little crisp. Let it cook for a couple of minutes. Then flip it all over and do the same process again.
  • At this point, you can turn down the heat and crack a couple of eggs over top, place the lid on and allow them to cook for a couple of minutes. Or you can serve it, as is, on the side.

1 1/4 cups chopped tomatoes

Steps:

  • In 12-inch nonstick skillet, cook ground beef, potatoes and red onion over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until beef is thoroughly cooked and potatoes are tender, stirring frequently. Drain well.
  • In medium bowl, combine cream, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt and pepper; blend well. Stir into beef mixture. Cook an additional 2 to 5 minutes or until mixture is bubbly around edges, stirring frequently. Gently stir in tomatoes.

2 Medium Russet Potatoes,
3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Yellow Onion, (Chopped)
1 Red Bell Pepper, (Chopped)
2-3 Clove Garlic, (Minced)
8 Ounces Ground Beef, ( 80-20%)
1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 1/2 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, (Grated)
Salt
Black Pepper
1-2 tablespoons fresh parsley, (finely chopped)

Steps:

  • Preheat broiler to high.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Place cubed potatoes in a bowl of cold water, swishing them around to remove starch. Drain in a colander and rinse. Spread potatoes out paper towels and pat dry.
  • Add oil to a cast iron skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes and cook, stirring as needed, until the potatoes are fork tender and browned on most sides.
  • Sprinkle potatoes with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Stir in the onions, red bell pepper and garlic to the skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring until golden brown.
  • Stir in the beef, chili powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and cook, breaking up any clump, until brown, about 5 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the potatoes back to the skillet and mix in. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top of the skillet.
  • Place skillet under preheated broiler until cheese is melted, about 1 minute. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

  • In a microwavable casserole dish, cook hamburger on high for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Saute mushrooms very lightly in fry pan,using pan spray.

⅓ cup heavy cream
6 bacons, sliced
1 cup cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F (175˚C).
  • In a medium bowl, season hash browns with salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss until fully incorporated.
  • In a medium skillet, cook six slices of bacon until crispy. Set bacon aside and remove excess fat from the pan.
  • Heat oil in skillet, then spread hash browns so they take the shape of the pan and form a nest.
  • Cook hash browns for roughly 7 minutes on medium so that the bottom forms a crispy crust.
