HAM 'N' SWISS RING
My family loves ham and cheese together, so I came up with this recipe. I like to serve this rich creamy dish with rice and steamed broccoli.

- Arrange crescent rolls on a 13-in. round pizza pan, forming a ring with wide ends overlapping and pointed ends facing the outer edge of pan. , In a large skillet, saute mushrooms and onion in butter for 8 minutes or until juices are absorbed. Add remaining ingredients; stir well. Spoon over wide ends of rolls. Fold points of rolls over filling and tuck under wide ends at center (filling with be visible). , Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 4 rectangles; press perforations to seal., Spread each rectangle with 2 tablespoons dip to within 1/2 in. of edges. Top with ham and cheese. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side; pinch seam to seal. Cut each roll crosswise into thirds; place in greased muffin cups, cut sides down., Bake until golden brown, 12-15 minutes. Run a knife around edges to remove from pan.

Steps:
- Mix ham, broccoli & onion. place rolls on baking stone. arrange triangles slightly overlapping with wide ends 4 inches from edge of stone. (points will extend off the edge). roll wide end of dough to center to create a 5 inch opening.
- mix all ingredients together except lemon. spoon mix evenly over dough.
- bring points of triangle up over filling and tuck under dough at center to form a ring. (filling will show).
- sprinkle parmesian cheese over ring.
- bake at 375 for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- remove from oven.
- squeeze ring with fresh lemon.
- garnish with lemon slices (slice thinly, cut in half and fold across ring).
- garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.

SUNNY'S HOT HAM AND CHEESE WREATH

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Line a large baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper or nonstick aluminum foil. Place a 4.5-inch diameter bowl upside down in the center of the baking dish and use it as a guide (it will be the center, empty area of your wreath). Arrange triangular sections of the crescent dough on the parchment in a circle around the bowl with the long points facing outward as the "rays" and the wide bases in the center with the edges overlapping. Brush the jalapeño jelly on the dough. Remove the bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix the ham, Gruyere and pepper jack, then layer the mixture on the dough, creating a ring around the center of the circle. Pull the points of dough from the outer edge over the filling and tuck under the center rim of the dough circle. The filling will show and that's ok! Top with jalapeño slices all around.
- Bake, rotating halfway through, until golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before slicing to serve.

- Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚C) Unroll cans of dough and separate into triangles. On a large cookie sheet, place a bowl in the center (about 5 inches in diameter). Arrange the triangles in a ring around the bowl, dough should overlap. Layer cheese, pepperoncinis, basil, salami, ham, prosciutto, and provolone on each triangle closest to the ring. Season with salt and pepper. Bring the top of the triangle over the filling, and tuck the edges under the bottom layer of dough. Repeat around the ring until the entire filling is enclosed. Bake for 30 minutes or until the dough is a golden brown. Cool 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Serve with olive oil and balsamic. Enjoy!

This is 1 I have not tried, but appears to be another ideal & easy way to use leftover ham you may have on hand or lurking in your freezer. Although described as an *ideal lunch dish* when served w/a selection of salad items, I see it also working well as part of breakfast or brunch fare. *Enjoy* (Time does not include time for ham mixture to sit as directed in Step 2 of prep)

- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix chopped ham, onion & parsley w/brandy & allow to sit for 20 minutes.
- Whisk eggs w/salt, paprika, mustard & cottage cheese or cream cheese (I would use my immersion blender for this step).
- Combine ham & egg mixtures & ladle into a well-buttered (or sprayed w/PAM) 2-pint fluted mold.
- Stand mold in a roasting pan half-filled w/water & cook for 40 minutes.
- Allow to cool till well-set & able to be easily handled. Then carefully turn out onto a serving plate, cut into cake-like wedges & serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, toss together ham, chopped broccoli, onion, parsley, and Swiss cheese. Stir in lemon juice and Dijon-style mustard.
- On a 13-inch stone or baking sheet, arrange crescent triangles in a circle with bases overlapping in center and points to the outside. There should be a 3-inch diameter circle in center. Spoon the filling evenly over the crescent rolls. Fold points of triangle over filling and tuck under base at center. Filling will not be completely covered.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Serve warm.
