Halloween 7 Layer Bean Dip Food

7 LAYER BEAN DIP

Steps:

• Mix avocados, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
• Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and taco seasoning mix.
• Layer ingredients as follows.
• Bottom layer: Bean Dip.
• Second layer: Avocado mixture.
• Third layer: Sour cream mixture.
• Fourth layer: Tomatoes.
• Fifth layer: Onions.
• Sixth layer: Olives.
• Seventh layer: Cheese (I like to use Colby Jack cheese).
• Top with extra sour cream/olives/salsa, etc. if desired.
• Serve with tortilla chips.
• **This seems to be a little bit better if you can chill it for a few hours or over night to let the flavors intensify**.

HALLOWEEN 7 LAYER DIP

Steps:

• To a large bowl, add refried black beans and taco seasoning and mix well to combine.
• In a baking dish or serving platter (I used a 9-inch pie dish), layer beans, salsa, lettuce, olives, cheese, and diced tomato. Cover with guacamole, spreading it into a smooth layer.
• Add sour cream on top, using a squeeze bottle to draw a spider web shape. (I started by drawing intersecting lines in an asterisk/star shape across the dish, then curved lines in between to connect them!)
• Garnish the edge of the dish with more diced tomatoes, olives, and cheese. Serve with your favorite dippers!
• Yields 8 servings Halloween 7 layer dip.

SPOOKY 7-LAYER DIP RECIPE

Steps:

• In a small bowl mix the taco seasoning with the refried beans.
• Spread the bean mixture evenly on an 11 inch plate getting close to the edge.
• Carefully spread ¾ cup of the sour cream over the bean mixture.
• Add the salsa very gently over the sour cream. If your salsa is really runny, drain off some of the liquid first.
• Apply the guacamole mixture over the salsa. I put dollops of guacamole all over and then carefully spread them together so that the salsa doesn't come through.
• Around the edge spread the grated cheese.
• Top the cheese with sliced olives, diced tomatoes, and sliced green onions.
• With the remaining ¼ cup of sour cream, put it into a sandwich bag and clip off the corner. Squeeze the sour cream into a web pattern over the guacamole.
• Top with plastic spiders.

7 LAYER DIP

Steps:

• Layer in this order.
• 16 oz refried beans mixed w/ 1 package taco seasoning.
• 1 c sour cream.
• 1 c guacamole.
• 1 c salsa.
• 1 c lettuce.
• 1 c Mexican cheese.
• 4oz sliced olives.
• 1 c tomatoes.

FIESTA 7 LAYER DIP

Steps:

• Reserve 1/2 cup drained tomatoes; set aside. Blend remaining tomatoes and reserved liquid with beans in medium bowl.
• Spread bean mixture in 8x8-inch glass baking dish or round casserole dish. Top with guacamole.
• Blend together sour cream and seasoning mix in small bowl. Spread over guacamole. Top evenly with layers of cheese, olives, green onions and reserved tomatoes. Chill 2 hours prior to serving. Serve with tortilla chips, if desired.

7 LAYER DIP

Steps:

• Mix sour cream and taco seasoning. Chill for 30 minutes.
• Combine beans and salsa in sauce pan and heat on medium until evenly blended. Let cool.
• Spread beans and salsa in 11x13 inch pan. Spread sour cream / taco seasoning mixture over beans.
• Layer cheese, olives, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados and green onions over each ingredient. Serve with tortilla chips.

SPIDER WEB 7-LAYER DIP

Steps:

• 1. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the refried beans and taco seasoning.
• 2. On a large festive Halloween tray , spread the beans in an even circular shape. Leave room around the edges for the garnish.
• 3. Sprinkle green chilies over. Smooth salsa over. Smooth guacamole over.
• 4. Place your sour cream in the end of a ziploc bag. Cut the corner off. Squeeze sour cream on top of guacamole in several concentric circles (or octagon shapes for a more authentic look). Using a knife or the handle of a fork, run lines lightly through the sour cream to make the web shape.
• 5. Sprinkle lettuce in a circle around bean dip. Sprinkle tomatoes and green onions over. Sprinkle cheese over.
• 6. Garnish with a creepy spider and serve with lots of tortilla chips!

7 LAYER BEAN DIP

Steps:

• In 13x9-inch baking dish spread even layer of refried beans.
• Spread salsa over beans.
• Carefully spread sour cream over salsa.
• In mixing bowl combine avocado, lime juice, cumin, and garlic powder. Combine until smooth.
• Spread avocado mixture over sour cream.
• Top avocado with an even layer of grated cheddar cheese.
• Sprinkle with sliced green onion.
• Finally top with sliced black olives.
• Serve with your Fritos scoops or your favorite tortilla chips.
