GRILLED WAFFLE TREATS
I made these super sandwiches for family and friends for the first time on a Fourth of July. Everyone loved the generous portions and shared their fondest memories of making and eating s'mores on campouts. -Chris Seger, Lombard, Illinois

- Place one waffle on a greased double thickness of heavy-duty foil (about 12 in. square). Sprinkle with 1/4 cup each marshmallows and chocolate chips; top with another waffle. Fold foil around sandwich and seal tightly. Repeat three times., Grill, covered, over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until chocolate is melted, turning once. Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape.

- Prepare campfire or grill for medium heat. Fill cones with M&M's, marshmallows, peanuts and white chips. Fully wrap each cone with foil, sealing tightly. , Place packets over campfire or grill; cook until heated through, 7-10 minutes. Open foil carefully.

WAFFLED TOMATO-GRILLED CHEESE
Waffling your grilled cheese is a quick alternative to standing over your stove waiting for your bread to brown. It also ensures even delicious goldenness! Each bite tastes like tomato soup and grilled cheese at the same time.

- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Arrange the tomatoes on a baking sheet cut-side down. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Slow-roast until the tomatoes are soft and wrinkled, about 1 hour. Set aside to cool. (The tomatoes can be made and refrigerated up to 1 day ahead.)
- Preheat a waffle iron to medium-high. Brush one side of each bread slice with melted butter. Lay the bread out on a clean work surface, dry-side up. Spread each slice of bread with some of the mayonnaise. Top 4 bread slices with 2 tomato halves, slightly smashing them into the bread. Top with 3 cheese slices each and the remaining bread slices.
- Place two sandwiches at a time in the waffle iron and gently close the lid (don't press down). Cook until the cheese is melted and the sandwiches are golden-brown, 6 to 10 minutes. Repeat with the remaining sandwiches. Cut in half and serve.

Steps:
- Heat waffle iron. In medium bowl, mix Waffle ingredients until combined. Pour half of batter at a time into waffle iron, and cook according to manufacturer's directions.
- In 10-inch skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat.
- Cut waffles in half. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise and mustard; spread on 1 side of each waffle. Top 2 of the waffles with bacon and cheeses. Top with other 2 waffles, and place in hot skillet. Cook about 5 minutes on each side or until golden. Serve immediately.
