GRILLED GARLIC BUTTER MUSHROOMS
Grilled garlic butter mushrooms are a super easy to make, healthy, and delicious summer BBQ recipe. They make the perfect side dish recipe or meatless main course.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and half the garlic. Add the mushrooms and gently toss the mushrooms so they are coated in the marinade. Set aside on your counter for 30 minutes.
- In a small saucepan melt the butter and add the remaining garlic and a pinch of salt.
- Oil your barbecue grill and preheat to medium. Skewer the mushrooms on kebab sticks. (See notes.)
- Grill the mushrooms for 5 minutes per side. When you flip them over, it is easiest to use two pairs of tongs. Set the grilled mushrooms on a plate and drizzle the garlic butter over the top. Serve immediately.

GRILLED MUSHROOMS
Grilled Mushrooms made with whole white mushrooms on skewers, with a garlic butter and basil sauce, grilled to perfection!

Steps:
- Wash mushrooms well and stack them on skewers (I was able to fit 5 per skewer).
- In a small bowl, stir together butter, garlic salt, and basil.
- Place skewers on grill over medium high heat and drizzle/baste garlic butter over the top.
- Turn skewers after 5 minutes and drizzle/baste the other side, grill for another 5 minutes.
- Allow skewers to rest about 2 minutes before serving.

GRILLED MUSHROOMS WITH GARLIC AND PARSLEY BUTTER

- Preheat a grill. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine butter, garlic, and 1/2 cup of the parsley, and mix well. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- To prepare the mushrooms, remove stems, lightly coat with olive oil, and grill until tender. Place a spoonful of the butter mixture on each mushroom, and bake until butter is melted, approximately 3 minutes.
- To serve, place on large platter, and sprinkle with remaining parsley.
GARLIC BUTTER MUSHROOMS

- Melt 3 tablespoons of the butter in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the mushrooms in one layer and cook, without moving, until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss. Continue to cook until the mushrooms are cooked through, about 5 more minutes. Add the thyme, garlic and lemon zest, then cook for 1 minute. Add the lemon juice and remaining tablespoon of butter and toss until the butter is melted. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and serve.
GRILLED GARLIC MUSHROOMS
A great side dish when grilling. My grandchildren always ask for mushrooms prepared this way with steak or shrimp.

Steps:
- 1. Heat 1 butter and oil over medium-high heat. Add shallots and garlic, cook, stirring, until slightly softened, and translucent, about 3 minutes.
- 2. You'll need a grill-proof dish, or alternatively, you could prepare these in foil packets (I use a glazed clay dish).
- 3. Layer mushrooms and butter bits, seasonings each layer with salt and cracked black pepper. Drizzle with sherry
- 4. Cover dish with foil. Grill over low coals about 20 minutes, or until cooked through, stirring occasionally.
GRILLED STEAKHOUSE SIRLOIN WITH GARLIC MUSHROOM BUTTER
Our grocery store cooks featured items and I happened to taste this "out of this world" steak there. I got the recipe, made a few changes, like adding the garlic to the butter, and made it that night. My husband stated, "This is the way you should cook steak from now on." Add a tossed salad and you've got a great meal.

Steps:
- In a small mixing bowl, combine butter, garlic and 1/2 package of mushroom gravy mix.
- Mix well or put in a food processor and blend until well mixed.
- Chill butter in refrigerator while preparing steak.
- In a medium mixing bowl combine steak sauce, Merlot, and steak seasoning.
- Place steak in a pan and coat with half of mixture.
- Use the other half to baste meat with.
- There is no marinating time, but while the grill heats and the table gets set, I leave the steaks in the refrigerator for about 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat grill and grill steaks about 5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
- Baste with remaining wine steak sauce mixture.
- Cut each steak into 4 serving portions and top each portion with 1 heaping tablespoon of Garlic/Mushroom butter.
