This is the 2nd of 2 intriguing beverages I found in my MasterCook Deluxe computer program & they acknowledged the Stash Tea website. (Time does not include refrigeration)

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 1/3 cups green tea (concentrated)
1/4 cup crystallized ginger (finely chopped)
2 2/3 cups ginger ale (well-chilled)

Steps:

  • Combine chopped ginger & tea concentrate while still hot & refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  • Strain & discard ginger.
  • Combine ginger ale w/tea concentrate & pour into 4 ice-filled glasses. Enjoy!

4 moroccan mint green tea bags
1 1/3 cups boiling water
2 cups apple juice
1 cup sparkling water
ice cube

Steps:

  • Steep tea bags in boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bags and remove.
  • Add apple juice and sparkling water. Pour over ice.

This recipe comes from the June 2009 Best Recipes cookbooklet, Summer Salads & Sandwiches. Preparation time includes neither the time needed for brewed tea to cool nor the time needed for the fruited tea to chill.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 cups boiling water
6 tea bags (I prefer green tea)
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup grape juice, chilled (calls for purple grape juice)
1 medium orange, sliced
1 medium lemon, sliced
1 medium lime, sliced
1/4 cup club soda, chilled

Steps:

  • Pour boiling water over the tea bags, then cover & brew for 5 minutes. Squeeze the excess tea from the bags, then pour into a large pitcher. Stir in the sugar & let cool.
  • EXCEPT for the club soda, add remaining ingredients to the tea & chill at least 2 hours.
  • Just before serving, add club soda, then pour into ice-filled glasses.
