GRANNY'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
Granny's recipe handed down from generation to generation. It's the best sweet potato casserole I have ever had.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 12x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Beat yams, eggs, 1 cup water, evaporated milk, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup butter, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer until smooth; spread into prepared baking dish.
- Mix flour, 1 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, 4 teaspoons water, and baking powder together in a separate bowl. Stir pecans and coconut into the flour mixture and sprinkle over the yam mixture.
- Bake in preheated oven until the topping is lightly browned, about 45 minutes. Cool at room temperature 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes, white sugar, milk, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt together; transfer potato mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Mix brown sugar and flour for topping together in a large bowl. Add pecans, coconut, and butter; mix until well combined. Sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven until topping is golden brown, about 25 minutes.

GRANDMA LOUISE'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE WITH PRALINE TOPPING
This is my Grandma Louise's recipe for a sweet potato casserole. I swear it is the best thing I have ever eaten. She makes it every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. If you are bringing this to a party, it can easily be reheated by covering it with aluminum foil, placing it in an oven at 350°F, and heating it for about 20-30 minutes or until just bubbling. Enjoy! Note: Prep time does NOT include time needed to prepate fresh sweet potatoes/yams.

- Grease a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
- Potato Mixture: Beat eggs in a large bowl.
- Stir in potatoes until blended.

My Grandmother all way's made this recipe,for Thankgiving,Christmas,and Easter Sunday.When she became to ill to cook she made sure ,I took over the holiday cooking .One of my twin brothers,all way,s ask's for this as his choice of a dish....As I put it together and put it in the oven ,I still can see her as she fixed this dish....Some how it does not taste quite the same as when she made it for us all those years ago..

- Mix the mashed Sweet Potatoes ,butter,salt vanilla extract,sugar,milk,and the beaten eggs together and pour into a casserole dish that has been sprayed with non stick spray....Then MIX the topping and spread on top of the Sweet Potatoe Casserole .Bake at 350 degrees and Bake for 35 to 40 minutes ...
- Pour Sweet Potatoe mixer into casserole dish.
- Mix topping for casserole.
- Sprinkle mixed topping over the casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
- After it comes out of the oven, let it set for 20 to 25 minutes before serving.

- Mix the mixture ingredients together in a bowl; pour mixture into a greased 8" x 8" glass pan.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine apple slices, sugar and lemon juice; toss to coat. Set aside. In an 8- or 9-in. cast-iron or other ovenproof skillet, heat butter over medium heat.
