GRANDMA'S MEATLOAF
This is my all time favorite dish, that my Grandmother served in her restaurant. She would serve this with real mashed potatoes and creamed corn.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, crushed crackers, onions, salt, and pepper. Mix these ingredients together using your hands. Knead until all ingredients are evenly mixed. Place the hamburger mixture into a loaf pan and pat down firmly and evenly. Using your finger, poke 1 inch deep holes into the top of the meat loaf, placing them about 1 inch apart. Pour the ketchup on top of the meat loaf and spread out evenly. Sprinkle the brown sugar out evenly over the ketchup. Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 75 minutes. Remove the meat loaf from the pan and place it on a platter. Be careful when removing the meat loaf from the baking pan. Use a fork to loosen it from the bottom of the pan if the meat loaf sticks. Use two forks to lift it from the pan. Slice the meat loaf to the desired thickness and serve.
BROWN SUGAR MEATLOAF
I use chili sauce or salsa instead of ketchup to give a nice contrast to the sweetness of the brown sugar. A lighter version can be made using Splenda brown sugar blend, skim milk, and Egg Beaters. Got this one from the AllRecipes website. It's one of their most popular recipes.

THE BEST BROWN SUGAR MEATLOAF
This recipe doesn't call for ketchup like many do. I use tomato sauce instead and it is topped with a tomato sauce and brown sugar glaze. It was my biggest seller at the club I used to cook for. Easy to make too. Compliment it with a beef gravy, mashed potatoes, and a side of corn,

BROWN SUGAR MEATLOAF
I found the basic recipe in a church cookbook, but had to make several changes, such as adding the Worcestershire sauce and reducing the amount of milk. It is my favorite meatloaf recipe now.

- In a large bowl mix the first 11 ingredients until evenly blended. Add the ground beef and with your hands mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
- On a rimmed baking sheet form the meat ingredients into a loaf (the mixture is a bit loose so wide, about 5 inches is better). Pour half the topping over the meatloaf. Brush the sauce over top and sides in an even layer.
