GRANDMA'S HOMEMADE GRANOLA
My grandmother and I created this homemade granola recipe one day, and it is currently loved and requested by the rest of my family, including my other grandma who used to be anti-granola! My favorite ways to serve it are in coconut Greek yogurt or just in a bowl with milk. Simple and awesome.

HOMEMADE GRANOLA
My husband found this recipe in a mountain bike magazine that we changed just a bit. This granola is really easy to make and very good. You can use oats, but I like to use multi-grain hot cereal that includes oats, barley, rye, and wheat. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 360 degrees.
- Toast nuts in pan over stove until lightly brown.
- Mix the fruit juice, honey, maple syrup, oil, vanilla, and spices in a large bowl. It's okay to add more honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, or spices - just depends how you like your granola to taste.
- Add oats and nuts into honey mixture and combine together.
- Spread mixture on a baking sheet and bake 30 minutes until golden. Stir occasionally. Use your best judgement when baking. I like mine a little crunchy, so sometimes I bake it 40 minutes.
- Leave on pan to cool.
- If you are using dried fruit stir in once completely cooled.
- Store granola in container with lid (not in refrigerator). It will last about a week or a little longer. Add granola to vanilla yogurt, or with milk, or eat plain.

HOMEMADE GRANOLA
I love homemade granola--I discovered it this spring when I found about 10 recipes for granola on the internet. This is my favorite conglomeration. Sometimes I add some sesame oil too, either in addition to or in place of the vegetable oil. Enjoy!

GRANDMA'S HOMEMADE GRANOLA
My grandmother has always made this granola and still does. It has lots of nuts, honey and raisins in it and is very hearty. You can customize it any way you want (coconut, almonds, sunflower seeds, etc.) but I have always liked this recipe

GRANDMA'S GRANOLA
This recipe was adapted from The Amish Community Cookbook - Simply Delicious Recipes from Amish and Mennonite Homes. Some ingredients have obviously been "modernized" but still go along with traditional cuisine! To lower calories, I skip the honey and it's plenty sweet enough for me when I use the optional raisinsl

MOM'S HOMEMADE GRANOLA
After finding out she was diabetic, my mom couldn't eat her favorite granola because it made her blood sugar spike. So, she came up with this recipe, and it's so much better than the store-bought because it's healthier and you can make it just how you want to. It makes a lot, and it keeps well in airtight containers. Now I like this recipe with no sugar and lots of raisins.

Steps:
- In a (large) dish pan mix dry ingredients (oatmeal through nutmeg) until evenly dispersed.
- In a microwaveable bowl, mix wet ingredients (oil through vanilla).
- Microwave on high for one minute to combine if needed.
- Pour liquid over cereal mix.
- Stir with spoon to moisten everything. Add a little water if necessary.
- Spread into four large greased roasting or baking pans, about 1 to 1 1/2 inch deep works best.
- Bake at 250 degrees for 120 minutes, stirring after 40 minutes, breaking up large clumps.
- After cooking, let cool on stove. Granola will dry out a little more in this stage, so don't overcook it while baking.
- Spread raisins over top of dry granola.
- Scoop into airtight containers. Raisins will mix evenly into granola in this stage.
