Steps:
- Slice chicken breasts in thirds horizontally to make 12 thin chicken fillets. Lightly pound each piece. Place in a dish, and pour milk over them. Soak for 10 minutes. In a shallow bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and parsley. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge chicken pieces in the bread crumb mixture, and place in the hot oil. Quickly brown on both sides, then remove to a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish, or similar size. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place orange slices over the top of the chicken.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Drain the oil from the skillet, reserving 1/4 cup. Heat the reserved oil with the wine over medium heat until reduced by 1/2. Add broth and orange juice, and reduce by 1/2 again. Pour the sauce over the chicken, then drizzle with Grand Marinier.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until bubbly.

GRAND MARNIER SOUFFLE
Steps:
- For the pastry cream: Boil the milk with the lemon zest. Take the pot off the heat and strain with a fine mesh strainer.
- Mix the superfine sugar, flour and eggs together. Then pour the boiled milk over the mixture. Return to the heat. Let the pastry cream thicken a few minutes while stirring continuously.
- For the souffle: Preheat the oven to 430 degrees F/22 degrees C. Grease the souffle dishes. Then pour a little bit of sugar in and swirl, to coat the dishes.
- Beat the egg whites with the superfine sugar until stiff peaks form. At the last moment add the potato starch. Add the liqueur to the pastry cream and slowly add in the egg whites. Fill the souffle dishes and place them immediately in the oven for 13 minutes.
- After removing from the oven, immediately sprinkle the souffles with the confectioners' sugar and serve straight away.
- Bon appetit!

- The Beautiful Cocktail. When a cocktail is so simple, sometimes it is just “beautiful,” and that’s exactly why The Beautiful Cocktail is called that. The Beautiful cocktail is also sometimes called a French Connection Number 2.
- B52 Cocktail (or B52 Shot) Perhaps one of the more sophisticated Grand Marnier recipes, a B52 is a layered cocktail that is to impress. To make this sophisticated and impressive layered cocktail, you need Baileys Irish Cream, Kahlua (or other coffee liqueur), and Grand Marnier.
- Cadillac Margarita. No list of Grand Marnier drink recipes would be complete without the famous Cadillac margarita recipe (Grand margarita). A Cadillac margarita uses top-shelf tequila, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice.
- Perfect Storm Cocktail. When you add Grand Marnier to the beloved Dark and Stormy cocktail, you have the Perfect Storm cocktail. Besides being a really cool name, this is a truly wonderful cocktail.
- Cadillac Sidecar. The classic Sidecar contains cognac or brandy, orange liqueur such as Triple Sec or Cointreau, and fresh lemon juice. All of these ingredients are shaken with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker and served in a glass with a sugar rim.
- Grand Marnier & Prosecco. To make a Grand Marnier and Prosecco, you need those two beverages, and you also need Aperol and orange juice. Prosecco is slightly less expensive than champagne, so it makes a great choice for experimenting with a champagne cocktail.

GRAND MARNIER SUBSTITUTE: 5 ALTERNATIVES WITH SIMILAR FLAVOR
From foodchamps.org
- Cointreau. Cointreau is a form of triple sec, one of the subtypes of orange liqueur. It’s used in conjunction with other forms of alcohol to sweeten and give the drink an orange flavor.
- Curacao. Curacao is yet another type of orange liqueur, but it has a brandy base instead of a clear liquor base. While this might not seem like it makes a difference, it gives the drink a richer undertone and a stronger kick.
- Brandy. However, you might not be looking for the orange flavor in Grand Marnier. You might be looking for that strong aftertaste. In that case, skip the liqueurs and go straight for the brandy.
- Orange Juice (or Orange Juice Concentrate) If all you’re looking for is the Grand Marnier flavor and none of the kick, don’t worry! You can still make a fantastic meal or drink without using any of the alcoholic alternatives for Grand Marnier.
- Orange Extract. Orange extract is perhaps the most potent of the options available. Because it comes directly from the rind of the orange, the extract is extremely concentrated.
15 BEST GRAND MARNIER SUBSTITUTE - SUBSTITUTE FOODS
From substitutefoods.com
- Cointreau: Cointreau is another popular orange liqueur, and it can be used as a substitute for grand Marnier in a pinch. Make sure you do not get the triple sec instead!
- Campari: Don’t let the bright red color throw you, Campari is actually quite good in baking as a substitute for Grand Marnier! Get More Substitutes: 10 Best Substitutes For Water Chestnut.
- Cognac: You could also try substituting Cognac for Grand Marnier. This will give your cake an entirely new flavor, but might still work well in some cakes!
- Coconut Rum: Coconut rum can be used as a substitute for grand marnier in baking in recipes. I have never tried this myself because it just sounds weird to me, but if anyone tries it and has success with it please let me know!
- Coffee Liqueurs: If you want to keep the liqueur part of the Grand Marnier, but don’t want the orange flavor, then check out different coffee liqueurs.
- Amaretto: Another common baking ingredient is Amaretto. It has a nice almond flavor that pairs well with cake, especially if you add some sliced almonds to the top for decoration!
- Bourbon: If you are looking for something with nice floral notes, then try bourbon instead of Grand Marnier. Bourbon comes from Kentucky and is known for having the distinct flavor of vanilla beans.
- Almond Extract: You do not necessarily need to use grand Marnier for flavoring in baking. Almond extract can be used instead, and it is a common substitute ingredient anyway.
- Citrus Juice: If you want a nice citrus taste without the alcohol, then check out some of the flavored juices in the grocery store. OJ is great for cakes because people already think of it as an essential ingredient.
- Brandy: If your recipe calls for a brandy then you should be able to substitute it with Grand Marnier liqueur. Get More Substitutes: 11 Best Substitutes For Broccoli.

From thehometome.com
- Cointreau. Cointreau is a liquor quite similar to Grand Marnier and its unique orange flavor makes it a perfect substitute too. With this, you can achieve the same flavor in cocktails and it happens to be premium triple sec, all you need is a pinch to achieve the same result from using Grand Marnier.
- Triple Sec. If you can’t get your hands on Grand Marnier or Cointreau, another liquor that offers the same taste and body is Triple Sec. This is an orange-flavored liqueur that originated from France and is often used in classic French cocktails.
- Curacao. Curacao liqueur might be another perfect substitute for you. This offers you the orange flavor similar to Grand Marnier and also there are so many options of this liquor available.
- Cognac. Cognac is a type of brandy made from grapes and whisky so if you are trying to skip the strong aftertaste of Grand Marnier, substitute it for cognac.
- Campari. Campari is less intense and if you are looking for Grand Marnier substitutes in baking or cooking, this is the perfect one to go for. Campari is an Italian liquor and regardless of the red bright color, it works in savory dishes and desserts.
- Orange Extracts. For sweet dishes and cocktails, orange extracts or juices will do a great job. A good quality orange extract will taste similar to Grand Marnier and it’s perfect if you want the citrus juice without any alcohol in it as well.
- Bourbon. Bourbon is another common baking whisky and it can replace Grand Marnier in your cocktail as well. Bourbon is a type of American whisky and it has a distinct taste of vanilla bean but not to worry, it works practically any dish that calls for whisky.
- Brandy. If you are looking for something subtle but bold at the same time, you should go with brandy. Brandy is a distilled liquor that is derived from fermented wine or juice and just like cognac, it is being used to make Grand Marnier hence it’s a perfect substitute for baking.
- St. Germain. St.Germain can give you the perfect twist you need in your cocktails while the sweet floral taste can work in baking and cooking as well.
- Orange Flower Water. If you are looking for a non-alcoholic substitute in baking but still going for the same Grand Marnier orange flavor, you should try the orange flower water.
