This is basically normal alfredo sauce but lots of the alfredo sauce that is canned in stores has modified food starch in it which is no good for a gluten free diet. So this is what my aunt came up with and is so delicious. Its good to add to rice noodles and chicken or put on gluten free pizza crust or in rice noodle alfredo lasagna. This really works with anything and is a good Gluten Free base. Buckwheat noodles are the best with this but I have only found them on sale once. Rice noodles are very cheap at the local Chinese market in all shapes and sizes. I also use this in rice alfredo casserol. If you come up with any more ideas let me know.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
3/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated or dry)
1/2 cup butter
1/2-2 cup milk (2% works best)
garlic seasoning (Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb Seasoning is what I recommend)

Steps:

  • I would Heat all together on med-low until smooth and creamy.
  • According to my husband you do the following : Melt butter first then smash cream cheese into the butter. Add cheese and milk last.
  • Add more milk to make more smooth. Start with 1/2 cup first then add to more to make desired texture.

3 tablespoons butter
½ cup heavy cream
1 ½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 pinches freshly grated nutmeg, or to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, or to taste

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Slowly add cream, stirring until well combined, about 3 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese; cook and stir until well incorporated, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, nutmeg, and black pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Serve sprinkled with fresh parsley.

This gluten-free Alfredo sauce is rich, creamy, and packed with garlic parmesan flavor! It's easy to make in just 15 minutes, and delicious over your favorite gluten-free pasta.

3 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic (finely minced)
4 ounces cream cheese (cut into 1-inch cubes)
1 cup milk (preferably whole milk but 2% will work)
1 1/2 cups 3-6 ounces freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a medium pot or skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly so the garlic doesn't burn.
  • Add the cream cheese to the butter mixture and let it sit for a few minutes until it begins to melt. Whisk the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy. This may take a few minutes of whisking to get totally smooth.
  • While whisking, slowly add the milk a little at a time until smooth and incorporated. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is smooth and combine.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes for a thicker sauce or remove right after the cheese is melted for a thinner sauce. Season to taste with more salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately over gluten-free pasta. Enjoy!

I made this recipe up. I like it and so does the rest of my family. It goes great with either chicken or shrimp. It doesn't have as much butter as other alfredo sauces. I tried to make it a little healthier.

1 quart heavy cream
5 ounces parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Fontina cheese
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Placet the 2 tbls of butter into a frying pan on medium low heat. Add the minced garlic and simmer for a minute.
  • Then add in heavy cream to garlic and butter, mix.
  • Add in rest of seasonings;Garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, pepper. Let this simmer for about 20 minutes on medium low heat. Keep stirring it.
  • Mix in the parmesan and fontina cheese and let simmer for another 15 minutes on medium low heat, keep stirring.
  • If you let it simmer correctly it will thicken up.
  • Serve with penne rigate or fettuccine.

1/2 cup butter
2 ounces cream cheese
2 cups heavy cream
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic, fresh minced

pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2/3 cup parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium to large saucepan melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add fresh minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth and melted.
  • Whisk in the heavy cream. ( I have substituted half & half.)
  • Season with the garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a simmer and whisk frequently until sauce thicken, around 15-20 minutes.
  • Stir in the parmesan cheese.
  • Remove from heat when cheese is melted.

1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

Steps:

  • In a medium sauce pan, add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese.
  • Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.
