1 1/2 fluid ounces light rum
1/2 fluid ounce lime juice
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
1/2 banana
1/2 cup ice

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in blender.
  • Blend 10-15 seconds or until ingredients are texture of snow.
  • Pour into saucer champagne glass and serve with straw.
  • Garnish with maraschino cherry and banana slice if desired.

CARDAMOM BANANA DAIQUIRI

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 cup 2% milk
2 Tbsp whole cardamom pods
1 ½ Tbsp pure vanilla extract
4 ripe bananas, chopped
2 ½ cup ice
10 oz coconut flavoured rum
¼ cup coconut flavoured rum
½ cup sweetened shredded coconut

Steps:

  • Place milk, cardamom and vanilla extract in a small pot over low heat.
  • Heat milk mixture for 15 minutes over low heat, while stirring with a wooden spoon.
  • Allow milk mixture to cool, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Strain milk mixture into blender.
  • Place bananas, ice and coconut rum in blender.
  • Puree until smooth.
  • Place coconut flavoured rum in a small bowl.
  • Place shredded coconut on a plate.
  • Dip the rim of the glass in rum.
  • Dip and twist the rim of the glass on a plate with shredded coconut so coconut adheres to glass.
  • Pour Cardamom Banana Daiquiri between four glasses.
