PEPPERMINT GINGER TEA -STOMACH SOOTHER
Embarrassingly easy.You can use fresh mint by all means,I prefer to use dried because I think the tea comes out stronger. Not just for upset stomachs,this is a really refreshing tea with a spicy-fresh flavor that I like to drink anytime it's cold outside. This is another good tea for when you have a cold;and of course it's good for indigestion,nausea,or other stomach ailments.The ginger helps circulation so it really warms you up!

Steps:
- Wash and peel ginger root.Slice into thin coins.
- Bring a pot of water to boil over high heat,use enough water that once it boils away you'll still have enough tea to fill your favorite mug,say about 2 cups.
- Add ginger and let it boil gently for about ten minutes, add mint,turn off heat ,and let steep another 5-10 minutes.
- Serve with honey if desired.

- In a large saucepan over high heat, combine the ginger and 6 cups of water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add the mint and tea bags.
- Cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain the liquid into a large pitcher or other container.
- Add the honey and lemon juice; stir. Chill in the refrigerator. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes and more mint leaves.

This tea is a little like a mother's gentle belly rub for a sick child, as both peppermint and ginger have qualities that relax the smooth muscles that surround the intestine.

- Bring the water and ginger to a boil in a saucepan, then lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the green and peppermint tea bags, and steep for 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and ginger, then stir in the lemon juice and agave nectar. Serve hot, or chill for at least 1 hour before serving over ice.
- Store, covered, in the refrigerator for 5 days.
