GATORADE MARGARITA
Any student, staff or alumnus from the University of Florida will be familiar with the famous sports drink invented at the school and named after the football team's mascot: the Gator. Make this to celebrate your college days (where you might have improvised a similar drink at the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party") -- it's surprisingly tasty and an orange-slice garnish tips it over the top.

- Combine the sports drink, limeade concentrate, tequila and blue curacao in a large pitcher and stir. Fill the rocks glasses with ice, pour the margarita over and garnish each with an orange slice.

Steps:
- Fill two glasses with ice.
- Pour 1/2 cup of blue Gatorade into each cup.
- Carefully pour 1/2 cup limeade over the ice in each cup. Y can use a spoon to reduce the impact of the limeade on the Gatorade and slow the drink's mixing process.
- Finally, top each Blue Hawaii mocktail with 1/2 cup of pineapple juice and your chosen garnishes.
- Serve and enjoy immediately.

MERMAID WATER MOCKTAIL - MY HEAVENLY RECIPES

Estimated Reading Time 1 min
- Start by filling your glass completely to the top with ice cubes. If you would like to use a straw, it’s best to insert your straw in the glass before pouring your liquids, otherwise the straw will disturb the layering process.
- Pour the pineapple juice over the ice, filling the glass a little over a third full. Next, very slowly pour the Gatorade Zero Berry over the pineapple juice, filling the glass about ¾ full. If the Gatorade begins pouring too quickly it will mix into the pineapple juice. A trick to help pour slowly is to hold a spoon with the backside facing up across the glass, and pour the Gatorade over the back side of the spoon. It will slowly trickle into the glass, and keep it from mixing with the pineapple juice.
- Lastly, pour the Gatorade Frost Glacier Freeze slowly over the Gatorade Zero Berry. The two will slightly mix together, and create an ombre effect, while still separating from the pineapple juice.

- Shirley Temple. Do you remember ordering “kiddie cocktails” when you were younger? Chances are high that you were given a Shirley Temple — with extra cherries, please!
- Sparkling Ginger Cranberry Mocktail. If you’re on the hunt for a kids' mocktail recipe for the holiday season, check out this Sparkling Ginger Cranberry Mocktail from The Speckled Palate.
- Cherry Almond Sparkler. Not only does this drink from A Classic Twist look really pretty, but it’s also incredibly easy to make. You’ll need some fresh cherries, sugar, lime juice, almond extract, ice, and 7UP Cherry (or 7UP regular if you want to go lighter on the cherry).
- Gummy Bear Cocktail. Instead of creating a complex mocktail recipe, Rachel from Simple Seasonal simply dressed up some sparkling cider to create a Gummy Bear Mocktail.
- Sunrise Mocktail. Here’s another example of how simply putting a couple of ingredients into a pretty glass makes a drink exponentially more fun. To make Mindful Mocktail’s recipe for Sunrise Mocktails, grab a tall glass (or champagne flute) and fill it about three-quarters of the way full with equal parts orange juice and alcohol-free sparkling wine, then add in a little bit of grenadine to create the sunrise effect, and garnish the drink with an orange slice and cherry.
- Mermaid Water. If your kids aren’t fans of oranges and cherries, then they may like some Mermaid Water. The recipe for this easy mocktail for kids comes from the blog Hawaii Travel With Kids and calls for some pineapple juice, blue Gatorade, and berry-flavored Gatorade.
- Blueberry Lemonade. Lemonade is my go-to for an easy mocktail base, then I usually just toss in some berries to add color. However, if you want to take it further you can try this recipe for blueberry lemonade from A Cookie Named Desire that will have you making your own homemade lemonade and blueberry syrup using totally fresh ingredients.
- Orange Juice Mocktail. Lauren from The Schmidty Wife turned her kids regular orange juice into a superfood mocktail by adding a scoop of a tangerine-flavored omega supplement.
- Ruby Red Grapefruit Punch. Instead of making individual mocktails for kids, consider making a big batch of a specialty punch and setting up a mocktail buffet.
- Non-Alcoholic Sangria. To kids, a glass of sangria looks like a glass of juice that’s full of fruit — which obviously sounds delightful. So, to let kids in on the action, Nicole from Brown Sugar Mama came up with a non-alcoholic sangria recipe.
