HOMEMADE GATORADE
We Googled Gatorade after realizing how much the cost of this product adds up. This is the result of much trial and error. The envelopes with non Kool-Aid drink mixes (like Wylers) are usually more like Gatorade. Kool-Aid seems to have its own distinct flavor. I often double the recipe to make a gallon jug. Fructose and citric acid might require going to a good health food store or brewing supply co. but yield a product more like the original. It is very good with the substitutions mentioned if you like the lemon flavor.

GATORADE MARGARITA
Any student, staff or alumnus from the University of Florida will be familiar with the famous sports drink invented at the school and named after the football team's mascot: the Gator. Make this to celebrate your college days (where you might have improvised a similar drink at the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party") -- it's surprisingly tasty and an orange-slice garnish tips it over the top.

- Lemon-Lime Gatorade. When it comes to the top three Gatorade flavors, we’re really just splitting hairs. That’s because Lemon-Limers, Fruit Punchers, and Orange fans die-hard for their fave.
- Orange Gatorade. Next up is Orange Gatorade, which has quite a passionate following. Certainly the fan-favorite on Amazon, Orange is the top flavor when it comes to Amazon reviews with a whopping 4,000 and a near-perfect rating of 4.8 stars.
- Fruit Punch Gatorade. If Fruit Punch is more your thing, you’re in good company. There’s a whole sector of the Gatorade fandom dedicated to the juicy goodness of the Fruit Punch flavor.
- G Zero Cool Blue Gatorade. Fans of most blue Gatorade flavors generally concur: G Zero Cool Blue Gatorade takes the cake.
- G Zero Glacier Freeze Gatorade. Right behind Cool Blue is G Zero Glacier Freeze Gatorade. As all G Zero drinkers know, it just hits differently than the original (more sugary) recipe.
- Green Apple Gatorade Fierce. Totally underrated (IMHO), Green Apple Gatorade Fierce is deliciously sweet. However, we can totally understand if that rubs your taste buds the wrong way.
- Cool Blue Gatorade. The OG Cool Blue Gatorade is still one for the books (even though the G Zero version definitely upstages it). Cool and thirst-quenching—as the Gatorade brand always promises—the 24-pack of this flavor has more than 23,000 reviews and 4.8 stars on Amazon.
- Icy Charge Gatorade Frost. Icy Charge Gatorade Frost is cool, sweet, and mostly flies under the radar. A great option for athletes who need something they can slurp down fast and easily, we only wish Icy Charge wasn’t so hard to find.
- Blackberry Wave Gatorade Flow. Also few and far between is Blackberry Wave Gatorade Flow—another sorely underrated flavor that mostly goes unnoticed. It doesn’t help, of course, that the flavor was discontinued a few years back, but if you’re lucky, you may still find it in stores where they haven’t yet sold out.
- Glacier Cherry Gatorade Frost. If your palette is one that generally enjoys the “icy” and “frost” flavors of Gatorade, then you’re sure to also love Glacier Cherry Gatorade Frost.
