A complete dinner, from start to finish, in less than 15 minutes - yes, it's possible! Garlic Ginger Sesame Soy Noodle Sauce is all the proof you need!

2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
6 cloves garlic, (finely minced)
6 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons brown sugar, (lightly packed)
4 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, except 1 teaspoon of the sesame seeds, in a small sauce pan and bring to a low simmer. Whisk occasionally.
  • In the meantime, prepare the noodles according to the cooking instructions on the package.
  • Ladle the desired amount of sauce over the cooked noodles. Top with more sesame seeds, and maybe some parsley or green onion.

4 tablespoons soy sauce
1 -2 tablespoon dark sesame oil
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons white vinegar
2 cucumbers, peeled and julienned
3 cups vermicelli or 3 cups rice noodles, cooked
6 scallions, chopped
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Sauce: In a small bowl combine soy sauce, oil, sugar and vinegar.
  • In a large bowl, combine cucumbers, noodles and sauce. Stir. Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with scallions and sesame seeds.
  • To give it more flavor you might stir in minced garlic and some chili sauce. Also play around with the amount of ingredients to you likings.
