Baked garlic shrimp scampi comes together with simple ingredients and just one dish for a quick 20-minute dinner full of flavor!

1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 small shallot (chopped)
4 Tablespoons butter (unsalted and melted)
6 cloves garlic (chopped)
½ lemon (juiced)
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/3 cup seafood broth (or broth of choice)
1 teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes to taste
10 ounces spaghetti noodles (cooked)
1/3 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated (plus more for garnish))
1/4 cup fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • In a medium-sized baking dish combine the shrimp, shallot, butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, broth, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.
  • While the shrimp bake, follow the package instructions for spaghetti noodles, and boil water in a medium-sized saucepan over high heat.
  • Once the water is boiling, add the spaghetti noodles, and cook for 8-12 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  • Add the cooked pasta, heavy cream, Parmesan, and parsley to the baking dish with the shrimp. Stir to combine.
  • Garnish with more parsley and parmesan cheese, and serve!

1 (16 ounce) package linguine pasta
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons parsley flakes, divided
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 cups medium shrimp, shelled
2 tablespoons lemon juice
5 cloves garlic, chopped
¼ cup dry sherry

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook linguine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 11 minutes.
  • While linguine is cooking, melt butter in a frying pan. Mix in 1 tablespoon parsley, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes, flipping 1 or 2 times. Add 1 tablespoon parsley, lemon juice, and garlic. Cook for another 2 minutes, flipping 1 or 2 more times. Pour in sherry and cook for 1 minute.
  • Drain linguine and divide among plates. Spoon shrimp on top, reserving juices for dipping or to pour over pasta at the table. Sprinkle remaining 1 tablespoon parsley over each plate for garnish.

1 (8 ounce) package angel hair pasta
½ cup butter
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 ½ pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
⅓ cup white wine
¾ cup dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add angel hair pasta and return pot to boil. Cook until al dente. Drain well.
  • In a large saucepan, melt butter, saute garlic until tender, remove garlic and discard. Add shrimp and cook until colored pink. Stir in white wine. The bread crumbs are used as thickening, so stir in a little at a time until desired thickness is reached.
  • Serve shrimp over angel hair pasta, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
