HOMEMADE REAL FRUIT JELLY SQUARES

Homemade Real Fruit Jelly Squares image

Ingredients

6 gelatin leaves * ((gold grade))
1/2 cup juice (100% (e.g. cherry, grape, orange))
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
2-3 tablespoons sugar
vegetable oil
granulated Sugar ( to toss them in (optiona))

Steps:

Line a baking dish with plastic wrap.
Soak the gelatin in cold water for about 5 minutes.
In a saucepan, mix the fruit juice with water and lemon juice. Stir in the sugar and bring to boil, and then reduce the heat.
Thoroughly squeeze the gelatin leaves and, one after another, dissolve in the juice-mixture without boiling.
Fill the jelly-mix into the dish and leave to set in the fridge for at least 5-6 hours.
For serving, cut into cubes or use fancy cookie cutters. (Tip: spread the cutter or your knife with some oil to make the slicing easier)
With a pastry brush, coat the jelly with a thin layer of oil and toss in sugar (optional).

2 cups dark chocolate chips
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans (plus about 2 tablespoons for topping)

Steps:

Combine the chocolate, the milk, and the butter in a medium size glass bowl and heat in the microwave for 90 seconds. Stir to combine and heat another 15 seconds if needed.
Add the extract and stir until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of pecans, if desired. Scoop into a parchment-lined loaf pan (approximately 5x8 inches). Spread with a spatula to approximately 1-inch thickness. Top with remaining chopped pecans, if desired.
Chill until ready to serve. Slice into 1-inch squares and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Enjoy!

3 pkg white chocolate chips (12 oz.) each
2 can(s) sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.) each
5 drops of green liquid food coloring
1/2 tsp almond extract
3 drops of red liquid food coloring
1 Tbsp coconut extract
1 Tbsp strawberry extract
3/4 c fruity jelly beans (128 jelly beans)

Steps:

1. Line an 8x8" pan with foil, coat with cooking spray. In a large saucepan add chips and milk. Over low heat, cook stirring until melted and smooth. Transfer 1/3 mixture(about 2c.)to a bowl, stir in greed food coloring and almond extract. spread evenly in pan, chill until firm. (10 minutes)
2. Transfer half of the remaining chocolate mixture(2c.) to another bowl. Add red food coloring and strawberry flavor extract. Gently spread mixture over green layer.Chill until firm (20 minutes)
3. Stir Coconut extract into remaining chocolate mixture, reheating if necessary. Spread over (pink) layer. Chill 10 minutes.
4. Using a knife gently score fudge lengthwise and crosswise into 8 rows each way, creating squares. Press 2 jelly beans into center of each square. Cover; refrigerate until set. (4 hours) Life fudge from pan, remove foil and cut into 64 pieces.

2 cups white chocolate chips
1 (16 ounce) container vanilla frosting
2 cups jelly beans (miniature or regular sized)

Steps:

Line a 9-inch dish with foil and grease lightly. Melt white chocolate according to package directions. Add frosting until mixture is smooth. Remove form heat to cool slightly. Mixture should be warm and "stir-able," but not too warm to melt the jelly beans. Add jelly beans and stir until evenly distributed. Spread mixture in prepared pan and cool to room temperature.
Put in refrigerator and cool for two hours or more. Remove foil and cut fudge into small pieces. Enjoy yourself or give as a gift!
