AIR-FRYER FRENCH FRIES

- Preheat air fryer to 400°. Add potatoes to a large bowl; add enough ice water to cover. Soak for 15 minutes. Drain potatoes; place on towels and pat dry., Combine potatoes, oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper in second large bowl; toss to coat. In batches, place potatoes in a single layer on tray in greased air-fryer basket. Cook until crisp and golden brown, 15-17 minutes, stirring and turning every 5-7 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with parsley.

Forget the frozen fries! These homemade French fries come out perfectly golden and crisp and only use 1 teaspoon of oil...just another reason to love your air fryer.

- Preheat an air fryer to 380 degrees F and spray the basket with nonstick spray.
- Cut the potato in half lengthwise, then into 1/4-inch slices. Cut the slices into 1/4-inch sticks. Put the fries in a medium bowl and rinse them well with cold water, then drain and pat dry with paper towels.
- Toss the fries with the oil in a medium bowl, then sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and several grinds of pepper. Working in batches if necessary, put the fries in an even layer in the air fryer basket with no overlapping and cook, turning them halfway through, until golden brown and crisp, 14 to 16 minutes. Remove and season with salt.

- Preheat an air fryer to 380 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray the basket with nonstick spray.
- Cut potato in half lengthwise, and then into 1/4-inch slices. Cut slices into 1/4-inch sticks. Put fries in a bowl and rinse well under cold running water. Drain potatoes and pat dry with paper towels.
- Combine fries and oil in a bowl and toss until well combined. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and season with pepper; toss to combine. Working in batches if necessary, lay fries in an even layer in the prepared basket; don't overlap.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer for 7 minutes. Turn fries and cook until golden brown and crisp, 7 to 9 more minutes. Remove from air fryer and sprinkle with more salt.

Steps:
- Cut the potatoes into thin sticks about 1/4-inch in thickness.
- Preheat a 2.5-liter air fryer to 400 degrees F.
- Place the potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Pour in the oil and sprinkle with the garlic powder, paprika, chili powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Toss until evenly coated.
- Lay the potatoes in a single layer into the basket of the air fryer. Cook, tossing every 5 minutes, until crispy and browned along the edges, 15 to 20 minutes. (For best results, don't overfill the basket.)
- Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and place on a serving platter.
AIR FRYER FROZEN FRENCH FRIES
Straight out of the freezer and better than fast food fries without the guilt of deep-frying. Feel free to use your preferred frozen French fry cut but keep in mind that steak-cut or crinkle will take a couple minutes longer.

- Place frozen French fries in a large bowl. Add olive oil and toss to coat. Season with salt and toss to coat again.
- Spread out French fries in the basket of the air fryer, making sure to not overcrowd, and cook for 10 minutes. Turn fries over using a spatula and continue cooking until desired crispness, 2 to 4 minutes more.
