Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Cut off the top of the bread boule so the top surface is flat and without crust. Slice the crusty top into sticks and set aside.
- Set the brie wheel on top of the bread and cut out a hole for the brie. Set the brie aside and remove the cut out bread.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with 2 cloves of garlic and brush over the bread. Set the boule aside.
- Carefully cut the top rind off of the brie wheel. Place the brie, cut-side up, inside the bread and set it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Scoop out about a tablespoon of the center of the brie and pour the white wine into the divot.
- Top the brie with the remaining minced garlic and chopped bacon, and season with pepper. Arrange the bread sticks next to the bread on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15- 20 minutes, until the brie is completely melted.
- Sprinkle with chives.
- Dip the bread sticks and any other dipping items you'd like in the brie.
- To reheat, bake the brie at 250°F (120°C) for about 15 minutes, until melted.
- Enjoy!

CHEESY BREADS
Of all the different appetizers I've made over the years, this one is always the first to go and it is SUPER easy to make. You can use either sweet or sour dough bread, both are tasty! I will usually assemble the Cheesy Breads the morning of the party on cookie sheets and cover with plastic wrap and keep in the fridge. When everyone has arrived at the party I just pop them in the oven and serve them piping hot! If you don't want the bread to be crunchy, broil them instead of baking them. I've tried them both ways and crunchy is better!

FRENCH BREAD WITH CHEESE AND HONEY (BAKED)
Here is an easy one! It has only cheese and honey on French bread but it was called "Milk and Honey Bread" in "It Tastes Too Good To Be Kosher" by Peter Weissenstein. I wanted the name here to reflect the actual ingredients since there is no milk in the recipe! I think Mr. Weissenstein gave the recipe that name since Israel is sometimes called the land of milk and honey but that's only my guess. Hope you like it.

CHEESY FRENCH BREAD
This is a little different from the usual Garlic French breads I've tried. I served this to my daughter for her 28th birthday dinner tonight. I changed the original recipe up some to fit our taste buds. Original recipe from Paula Deen's The Lady & Sons, Too cookbook.

- Combine yeast, ½ cup of warm water, and sugar in a small bowl. Let rest for 5-10 minutes to activate the yeast. It should look a little bit foamy.
- In the large bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture. Gradually (not all at once) add remaining ¾ cup of warm water and mix (or stir by hand with a wooden spoon) until a soft dough comes together in a ball. You might not need all of the water. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a bit more flour. It shouldn’t be sticking to the sides of the bowl.
- Once the dough comes together in a ball, knead with a dough hook or by hand until smooth and elastic – about 4-6 minutes. If the dough is sticking to the bowl or to your hands, add extra flour (one tablespoon at a time).
- Transfer the dough to a greased bowl. Turn to coat the dough with grease on all sides. Cover and let rest in a warm place until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
