- Add boiling water to gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add cold water; measure 3/4 cup into small bowl. Refrigerate remaining gelatin until slightly thickened. Stir in fruit; pour into serving bowl. Refrigerate until set but not firm.
- Meanwhile, place small bowl of measured gelatin in larger bowl of ice water; stir until slightly thickened. Beat with mixer on high speed until thickened and about doubled in volume. Spoon over gelatin in bowl.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.

- In a large bowl, dissolve lemon and orange gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water. Cover and refrigerate until partially set, about 1-1/2 hours. , Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to juice to measure 1 cup. , Fold the bananas, marshmallows and pineapple into gelatin mixture. Transfer to a 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Cover and refrigerate until firm. , In a small saucepan, combine sugar substitute and flour. Gradually stir in pineapple juice mixture. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly. Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat. , Stir a small amount of hot filling into egg; return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in butter until melted. , Cool to room temperature without stirring. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over gelatin. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting.

This is a recipe that I adopted. I have been making this salad for years, but we always called it "Sorority Salad" for reasons unknown to anyone! I add 1/2 to 3/4 cups chopped pecans or walnuts. This is a very refreshing salad and is good to take to covered dish dinners.

- Mix Jello and 1 cups boiling water and let cool.
- Add mashed bananas, pineapple, and undrained frozen strawberries.
- Put half the mixture into 13" X 9" X 2" pan and chill 30-45 minutes.
- Spread sour cream on top.
- Add remaining fruit & Jello mixture, chill, and cut into squares.
