Steps:
- Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife.
- In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt, stirring well with a whisk.
- Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture firmly into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
- Combine figs, water and 1/4 cup granulated sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Cook 5 minutes or until figs are tender and sugar dissolves.
- Cool slightly. Place fig mixture and juice in a blender; process until smooth.
- Gently spread fig mixture over prepared crust.
- Place remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar, cheese, vanilla, and egg in a medium bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed until smooth.
- Pour over fig mixture; spread to edges. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
- Cool in pan on a wire rack; sprinkle with powdered sugar.

These cream cheese bars have a sweet, butterscotch graham crust. They are so easy to make, and so easy to disappear!!

Steps:
- Preheated oven to 350°F.
- Microwave morsels and butter in medium, microwave-safe bowl on medium-high (70%) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in crumbs and nuts. Reserve 2 cups crumb mixture; press remaining mixture into ungreased 15x10 jelly-roll pan.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour and lemon juice. Pour over crust; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars or diamonds; refrigerate.

- For the crust, cream the butter and the sugar. Add the flour and nuts. Mix will be crumbly. Reserve one cup for topping.
- Press into a 9x9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
- For the filling, blend sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients. Spread over the crust, sprinkle with reserved topping, and bake at 350 degrees for 25 mintues until knife comes out clean.

My friend Patty's DH gave us a pint of his world-famous Fig Jam. Here is a fast and easy great way to enjoy fig jam when you are tired of English muffins. If you want a spiffy salad the ingredients turn into a fantabulous dressing! Cooking time is chill time.
