Top slices of baguette with Brie and broil. Then add honey and prosciutto for a creamy, sweet and savory toast.

Steps:
- Preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Arrange the baguette slices on the prepared baking sheet. Cut the Brie into 1/4-inch-thick slices and put 1 slice on each piece of baguette. Broil until the cheese is melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Drizzle the toasts with the honey and then top with some prosciutto and a sprinkle of thyme leaves if using.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly brush both sides of baguette slices with oil and place slightly spaced on rimmed baking pans. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.
- Top each slice with ham and Brie and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes or until Brie has just begun to melt. Top each crostini with fig jam and serve warm for best flavor.

I found this recipe in a local town newspaper. After having an amazing appetizer with brie at a restaurant last weekend. We thought we'd give this a shot at home. It came out amazing. the sweetness of the figs and wine coupled with the creamy brie and crusty bread was to die for!

Steps:
- Combine figs, wine, honey and lemon slices in medium suacepan.
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat and cook, covered over low heat for about 30 minutes.
- Let cool, remove lemon slices, then puree in blender.
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil, and place oil side down on large baking sheet.
- Spread about 1/2 tbsp fig spread on each baguette, top with brie slices, and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

- Preheat oven to 375F, with rack on upper middle position. Line a large baking sheet with foil. Place baguette slices in a single layer on baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter with olive oil. Use a pastry brush to brush butter mixture evenly on both sides each baguette slice. Bake 8-10 minutes or until slices become crispy. If needed, flip crostini over to allow crisping on the bottom side for a few minutes.
- Place a slice of brie over each crostini. Top each crostini with a generous dollop of fig preserves. Serve.

- Preheat oven to 400F, with rack in the middle of the oven. Place baguette slices in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Pour the olive oil into a small bowl and use a pastry brush to dab it on both sides of the baguette slices. Bake 4 minutes and flip slices over; continue baking for another 4 minutes until the slices are crispy.
- Top with slices of brie and return to the oven just long enough to soften the cheese but not have it melt; about 1-2 minutes.
- Top each crostini with a generous dollop of fig preserves and sprinkle them with the chopped, toasted almonds. Serve.
