HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY POPSICLES

Homemade strawberry popsicles image

Easy and simple recipe for homemade strawberry popsicles, made with pure fresh strawberries, no sugar added.

Provided by Layla Pujol

Categories     Dessert     Snack

Number Of Ingredients 2

2 lbs of ripe fresh strawberries (washed and hulled)
Popsicle sticks

Steps:

  • Cut about 5-6 of the strawberries into thin slices and reserve to decorate the molds.
  • Cut the rest of the strawberries into halves or quarters and blend them until you have a puree.
  • Place the sliced strawberries in the popsicle molds, try to stick them to the edges, this will give the strawberries popsicles a fun fruity look.
  • Pour the strawberry puree into the popsicles molds, cover and insert the popsicles sticks. If you are using small cups as popsicle molds you can cover them with foil and insert the popsicle stick thru the foil to keep them in place. Or let them freeze for about an hour and then add the sticks.
  • Place the popsicles in the freezer for about 3-4 hours or until fully frozen. To make it easier to remove them you can dip the bottom of the mold in lukewarm water for about 10-20 seconds.

STRAWBERRY POPSICLE

Everyone loves them in our family and the only thing better than this is the sour cherry version. Easy and fast to put together .Freeze it to get a popsicle or when it's half frozen, drink it with a straw. I'm not sure how many it makes, it depends on the size or the popsicle moulds. The amount of sugar and lime can be increased or decreased.

Easy Strawberry Popsicles image

Round up the kids (young and old!) and get them involved in making these simple and delicious warm-weather treats. Despite all the coconut in the ingredients, the finished pops have just a hint of coconut flavor... perfectly refreshing!

Provided by Jo Zimny

Categories     Fruit Desserts

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 pt organic strawberries (divided)
1 6 oz. container raspberry coconut yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 c plain coconut milk creamer

Steps:

  • 2. Process the strawberries, yogurt, vanilla and coconut milk creamer (like coffee creamer but made from coconut milk) in a blender until smooth.
  • 3. Remove to a 4 cup pitcher and chop up the remaining strawberries fairly small and add them into the liquid. Give it a good stir with a spoon.
  • 4. Pour into your Popsicle holders and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours or until frozen through.
