PEPPERONI PIZZA MONKEY BREAD RECIPE BY TASTY
Despite this party appetizer's name, cheesy pull-apart goodness is no monkey business. Flaky biscuit dough, marinara sauce, cheese, and pepperoni are baked together in a bundt pan, then you dig right in, with more marinara sauce for dipping. Make this indulgent recipe your own by replacing the pepperoni with your favorite pizza toppings.

- Tear a biscuit in half and flatten to approximately 2 inches (5 cm) wide. Top with ½ teaspoon marinara sauce, 2 slices of pepperoni, and 1 teaspoon mozzarella. Pinch the dough together, sealing the fillings inside, and roll into a ball. Repeat until all of the dough is filled.
- Arrange a layer of pizza balls in the prepared bundt pan and top with ⅓ of the remaining mozzarella.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Drizzle some of the olive oil mixture over the pizza balls. Continue layering the remaining pizza balls, mozzarella, and more of the olive oil mixture, reserving about 2 tablespoons for brushing.

- Brush the remaining olive oil mixture all over the monkey bread. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Warm the remaining marinara sauce and serve alongside for dipping.

EASY PIZZA MONKEY BREAD, MAIN DISH OR APPETIZER
This can be made with canned biscuits as a crust which makes it quicker but not nearly as good. This recipe came from a local newspaper several years ago. I like to use it for an appetizer or snack. It makes a lot so its good for parties, potlucks, or family gatherings. Don't use too many topping ingredients or dough will get soggy. Choose your favorite 2 or 3 for best results. Also rising time for yeast dough is not included in prep time or baking time. Rising adds an hour to this recipe. Everyone likes this, especially those young in body or mind. :)

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Open canned biscuits and cut into quarters and place into bowl. Pour spaghetti sauce, and add Italian seasonings over the biscuits and stir well.
- Add 3/4 of the pepperoni into the mixture, reserve the remaining 1/4 to place on top of the "pizza". Add 1/2 of the cheese to the sauce and biscuit combination, and stir well. Pour the pizza into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle remaining pepperoni and cheese on top of pizza before placing into the oven. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until the biscuits are fully cooked, they will be slightly firm when you press down on them.
- Italian seasonings, is a very great spice blend to have on hand. This spice blend goes well in spaghetti sauce, on a pizza, or even sprinkled on grilled chicken. If you don't happen to have any on hand you can make your own Italian seasonings by mixing together equal amounts of: basil, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, and thyme.
