Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in a 9-in. square baking pan. On top of melted butter, sprinkle crumbs, then coconut, then chocolate chips, then nuts. Pour milk over all. Do not stir. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool several hours before cutting.

This simple to make recipe came from Pillsbury Annual Recipes 2008. It includes some of my favorites - cashews and of course....chocolate (both white and semisweet)! Bars like these that contain sweetened condensed milk can be stored at room temperature. I just made these bars this morning and have not actually tried them yet. but they look great & smell wonderful! Please let me know what you think...

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup cashew halves
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

Steps:

  • 1) Heat oven to 375 degrees (350 degrees for dark or nonstck pan). Grease bottom and sides of 13x9 pan. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in pan; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Bake 5 minutes.
  • 2) Remove partially baked crust from oven. Sprinkle white chocolate chips, chocolate chips, almonds and cashews evenly over crust. Pour sweented condensed milk evenly over top.
  • 3) Bake 20 to 25 longer or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen. Cool 1 hour. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until chocolate is set. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

Crescent rolls form a crust for the bars, then topped with chocolate and nuts. You can use chopped walnuts in place of cashews.

1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
1 1/4 cups slivered almonds
1 1/4 cups cashews (use halves and pieces)
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Set oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Unroll the crescent dough into two long rectangles.
  • Place the dough in the pan and press over the bottom and about 1/2-inch up the sides to form a crust.
  • Bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove and sprinkle with vanilla chips, then chocolate chips, then almonds and then cashews.
  • Drizzle the condensed milk evenly over the top.
  • Return to oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool for 10 minutes, then run a knife around the sides of the pan.
  • Cool 1 hour at room temperature, then chill for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is set.

1 cup butter, softened
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat butter until fluffy. Add the flour, sugar and salt; beat just until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set and edges begin to brown., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine milk and 1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. Cook and stir until chips are melted. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Spread mixture over crust., Combine the nuts and milk chocolate chips with the remaining semisweet chocolate chips and crumb mixture. Sprinkle over filling. Bake 15-20 minutes or until center is set. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

3/4 cup butter, cubed
3 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup cream of coconut
FILLING:
1/3 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons cream of coconut
1/4 teaspoon coconut extract
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 to 2 tablespoons 2% milk
TOPPING:
1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
4 teaspoons canola oil
3 Mounds candy bars (1-3/4 ounces each), coarsely chopped, optional

Steps:

  • Microwave butter on high until melted; stir until smooth. Stir in cookie crumbs, coconut and cream of coconut until blended (mixture will be wet). Spread onto bottom of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking pan. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes., For filling, beat butter, cream of coconut and extract until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar and enough milk to reach a spreading consistency. Spread over crust., For topping, microwave chocolate chips and oil until melted; stir until smooth. Cool slightly; spread over filling. If desired, sprinkle with chopped candy bars. Refrigerate.

  • Unroll crescent roll dough into one long rectangle on an ungreased baking sheet; seal seams and perforations. Roll out into a 13-in. x 9-in. rectangle, building up dough around edges. , In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and egg until smooth; stir in coconut.
