EASTER MARSHMALLOW BARK

Easter Marshmallow Bark image

Easter Marshmallow Bark is one of my favorite Easter desserts! Just 4 ingredients and a few minutes to make this cute and festive Easter treat. Everyone enjoys our Easter Marshmallow Bark!

Provided by Jessica & Nellie

Categories     Dessert     Easter

Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 4

12 oz white chocolate chips
3 cups mini rainbow marshmallows
1/2 TBSP shortening or coconut oil (makes the melting process easier!)
Easter sprinkles or other fun sprinkles for decor on top!

Steps:

  • Measure out 3 cups of marshmallows. Line an 8x11 glass dish or a half-sized cookie sheet {like I used!} with parchment paper.
  • Pour chocolate chips into a glass or ceramic bowl and microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds. Let sit 2 minutes. Gently stir and add another 15-20 seconds if chocolate isn't fully melted.
  • Add marshmallows and stir to coat.
  • Transfer chocolatey marshmallows to your prepared pan. Using a rubber scraper, make sure marshmallows extend to the edge of the pan. Press down slightly to make it all somewhat even. Shake on any sprinkles you'd like to decorate the bark with.
  • Put in the freezer for about 20 minutes, until chocolate is set. You want to use the freezer so that it cools the mixture as quickly as possible- you don't want those marshmallows to melt!
  • Remove from the freezer and let sit on the counter to return to room temperature. Cut into pieces. If you use a cookie cutter, I suggest using a metal one and spraying the edges with cooking spray prior to cutting.

EASTER MARSHMALLOW BARK RECIPE - (4.5/5)

Easter Marshmallow Bark Recipe - (4.5/5) image

Provided by kctchr

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 bag white chocolate chips {12 oz}
3 cups mini rainbow marshmallows
1 about 1 TBSP shortening {optional, but it really makes the melting process easier!}
Easter sprinkles or other fun sprinkles for decor on top!

Steps:

  • Measure out 3 cups of marshmallows. Line an 8x11 glass dish or a half-sized cookie sheet {like I used!} with parchment paper. Put white chocolate and shortening in a medium sized glass bowl. Melt chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute. Give it a small stir, then return to the microwave in 30 second increments, until chocolate melts completely when you stir it. After chocolate is melted, add marshmallows and stir to coat. You'll want to do this kind of quickly- be sure the chocolate coats the marshmallows well, but if you take too long the marshmallows start to melt, which you don't want. Transfer chocolatey marshmallows to your prepared pan. Using a rubber scraper, make sure marshmallows extend to the edge of the pan. Press down slightly to make it all somewhat even. Shake on any sprinkles you'd like to decorate the bark with. Put in the freezer for about 20 minutes, until chocolate is set. You want to use the freezer so that it cools the mixture as quickly as possible- you don't want those marshmallows to melt! Remove from the freezer and let sit on the counter to return to room temperature. Cut into pieces. If you use a cookie cutter, I suggest using a metal one and spraying the edges with cooking spray prior to cutting

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 (12-ounce) bag white chocolate chips
3 cups rainbow mini marshmallows
1 tablespoon shortening
Sprinkles, to decorate

Steps:

  • Line a small cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place white chocolate and shortening in a medium sized glass bowl. Melt chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir, then return to the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir again. If not fully melted, return for 30 more seconds, then remove and stir until melted. Place the pan in the freezer for about 20 minutes, or until chocolate is set. Remove from the freezer and let sit on the counter to return to room temperature. Cut into pieces or, if using a cookie cutter, spray the edges with cooking spray (to avoid sticking, and cut.

PEPPERMINT-MINI MARSHMALLOW BARK

Peppermint-Mini Marshmallow Bark image

Provided by Food Network Kitchen

Time 1h25m

Yield 1 pound bark

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 pound white chocolate
1/2 cup chopped peppermints
1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with foil, shiny-side up; smooth out the creases. Make sure all your tools are dry.
  • Chop the white chocolate into 1/2-inch pieces with a large knife. Place all but 1 cup of the chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 30 seconds, then stir with a rubber spatula. Continue microwaving and stirring at 30-second intervals until melted, 3 to 5 minutes total. Immediately add the reserved chopped chocolate to the bowl; stir vigorously until melted and shiny. Don't worry if there are a few small unmelted pieces.
  • Pour the white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet; use the rubber spatula to spread it into a 10-to-12-inch circle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Press the peppermints and marshmallows into the chocolate, arranging them so each bite has a mix of flavors and textures. Let the bark harden completely at room temperature, about 1 hour. (If the room is warm, you may need to freeze the bark for a few minutes.) Break into pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 to 2 weeks.
