DR. PEPPER DESSERT

Steps:

• Blend cream cheese and Dr.
• Pepper until light and fluffy.
• Fold in drained fruit and marshmallows.
• Pack into a freezer-safe container.
• Freeze.
• Slice into squares and serve.

DR. PEPPER ROAST TURKEY OR CHICKEN WITH HERB BREAD STUFFING

Steps:

• Rinse turkey or chicken in cold water, pat dry.
• Remove neck, wing tips, giblets and simmer in small amount of water to make broth (about 2 cups).
• Melt butter or margarine and saute onions and celery until tender but not brown, cool.
• Combine bread cubes, salt, pepper, thyme and parsley.
• Add sauteed vegetables and toss lightly.
• Add beaten egg, the 1/2 cup of Dr Pepper, and broth.
• Spoon about 1 cup of the stuffing into the neck cavity.
• Fasten skin to back with skewer.
• Spoon stuffing into body cavity (do not pack), close body cavity by skewering skin together and lacing it closed with heavy string.
• Tie drumsticks to the tail.
• Place turkey in roaster or pan breast side up and roast at 325 degrees F for about 3 hours or until done.
• Baste frequently, first pouring from the bottle of Dr Pepper, slowly over the bird.
• When all is poured, baste from the liquid in the pan, spooning over the bird at frequent intervals.

DR PEPPER® BACON BROWNIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 12x18-inch pan with cooking spray.
• Combine 1 cup pepper-type soda and 1 cup butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat; heat until butter is melted, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
• Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
• Mix flour, white sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt together in a large bowl.
• Whisk buttermilk, vanilla extract, and baking soda together in a small bowl. Pour flour mixture; mix until batter is blended. Add butter mixture, 1/3 of the bacon, and chocolate chips; mix thoroughly. Spread in the prepared pan.
• Bake in the preheated oven until top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 25 to 30 minutes.
• Combine 6 tablespoons pepper-type soda, 1/2 cup butter, and 3 tablespoons cocoa powder in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 of the remaining bacon and confectioners' sugar; whisk until frosting is smooth.
• Spread frosting over brownies. Garnish with remaining bacon. Cool until frosting sets, about 20 minutes. Cut into squares.

DR. PEPPER SHEET CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease sheet cake pan. whisk flour,sugar,baking soda and cinnamon.
• In a saucepan mix Dr. Pepper,butter and cocoa. Bring just to a boil. Add to flour mixture,stir till moistened.
• Let cool a bit. Whisk in eggs. Pour into pan and spread evenly. Bake 18 to 20 minutes. Check if done at 15 minutes. Let cool.
• For icing: mix butter,Dr pepper and cocoa in pan,stir over medium heat till smooth.
• Transfer to a bowl . Beat in confectioners sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Spread evenly over cake. If you want thinner add more Dr. Pepper. Thicker add more confectioners sugar.
