Dole Pineapple Whip Using Vitamix Food

This copycat version of Disney's famous Dole Whip recipe is the happiest treat on earth. Here's what the iconic recipe is-and how to make it yourself.

Number Of Ingredients 5

Ingredients

3/4 c. pineapple juice
1 c. vanilla ice cream
2 c. frozen pineapple
1 tbsp. lime juice
Pinch of sea salt

Steps:

In a high-powered blender, combine the pineapple juice, vanilla ice cream, frozen pineapple, lime juice and salt. Blend on medium-high speed, stopping to push the pineapple chunks down into the blender as needed.
Transfer to a bowl; cover and freeze for 30 minutes.
Scoop and serve. Alternatively, transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe into small serving bowls. (This method will make it look like it came out of a soft serve machine.)

2 (20 ounce) cans crushed pineapple, drained
⅓ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream

Steps:

Blend pineapple, sugar, lemon juice, and lime juice together in a blender until mostly smooth; freeze until slushy consistency, 1 to 2 hours. Stir cream into pineapple mixture until evenly incorporated.

My family loves pineapple. I found this on the web while looking for recipes from Disneyworld/Disneyland. This is one of the recipes I came across. It's different from the ones posted here, as it makes quite a bit more.

Ingredients

2 (20 ounce) cans dole crushed pineapple
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped

Steps:

Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside.
Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender or food processor container; cover and blend until smooth.
Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags and store bags flat in freezer.
Freeze 1-1/2 hours or until slushy.
Stir pineapple slush gently into whipped cream until slightly blended, in large bowl.
Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour and serve.
