Although this is a messy project, kids love it. I used to make this for families when I was still babysitting, and always got requests for it from puzzled parents calling to ask me to sit for them again. It's a great way to keep kids occupied while having a little fun in the kitchen.

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) bag microwave popcorn
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Steps:

Pop the popcorn according to the package directions.
Microwave the butter until melted.
Add the sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon, mix well.
Empty the popcorn into a large bowl. Drizzle the cocoa mixture on the popcorn and toss to coat.

Add the nutritional yeast, walnuts, garlic granules and smoked paprika to your blender and blend until there are no walnut chunks. Transfer to a small bowl and set aside for now.
Spray some liquid aminos on the popcorn, folding the popcorn over with your hands, so that all the popcorn gets some spray. You may want to do this in two separate mixing bowls if your bowl isn’t big enough. Get the popcorn nice and sprayed so the seasonings stick to it.
Sprinkle all or most of the seasoning mix that you set aside earlier over the popcorn and gently mix so that it’s evenly(ish) distributed.
