Devils Food Crinkle Cookies

DEVIL'S FOOD COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, butter and water (batter will be thick). Fold in chocolate chips. , Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake 10-13 minutes or until set and edges are lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.

CAKE MIX FUDGE CRINKLE COOKIES

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In large bowl, stir dry cake mix, oil, eggs and vanilla with spoon until dough forms.
• Refrigerate dough 15 to 30 minutes, or as needed for easier handling. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in powdered sugar. On ungreased cookie sheets, place balls about 2 inches apart.
• Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store tightly covered.

DEVIL'S FOOD CRINKLE COOKIES

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 375°
• In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until everything is incorporated.
• Using your hands, make 1" balls with the dough.
• Roll the ball through the powered sugar and place on an (ungreased) cookie sheet.
• Bake for 9-11 minutes.
• Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then move them to a cooling rack.
• ENJOY!

DEVIL'S CHOCOLATE COOKIE CRINKLES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375°F.
• Grease cookie sheets.
• Combine cake mix, eggs, oil and milk.
• Stir until thoroughly blended.
• Chill dough for 30 minutes.
• Place confectioners" sugar in a separate bowl.
• Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into conf sugar.
• Roll to coat and form balls.
• Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
• Bake for 8-9 minutes or until set.
• Cool 1 minute.

DEVIL'S FOOD COOKIES WITH FROSTING

Steps:

• Cream shorteing in a large mixing bowl, gradually add sugar, beating until well blended.
• Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
• Sift together flour, soda, salt and cocoa in a medium mixing bowl, add to creamed mixture, beating until well blended.
• Stir in flavorings, blending well. (dough will bwe stiff).
• Cover and chill at least 30 minutes.
• Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
• Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
• Bake at 350 degrees for eight minutes.
• Place a marshmallow half on top of each cookie and bake an additional 2 minutes.
• Remove to wire racks and spread chocolate frosting evenly over each cookie.
• Leave on wire racks to set.
• Frosting: melt semisweet chocolate morsels with butter and milk. add 2 cups sifted sugar, beating until well blended.
• Store in air-tight containers.

DEVIL'S FOOD DROP COOKIES

Steps:

• Cream margarine and sugar till fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in chocolate. Sift together all dry ingredients, adding to chocolate mixture alternately with the sour cream. Mix well and stir in walnuts. Drop from teaspoon, 2 inches apart, on foil-covered cookie sheet (dull-side-up). Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or just until done. Remove and cool. Frost with Mocha Frosting. Mocha Frosting: Cream margarine, coffee, cocoa, and salt; slowly cream in 1 cup of the sugar, then add remaining 2 cups sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
