Drain excess grease. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms are soft and browned and the meat is cooked through, another 5 minutes or so. 2.Add the cubed cream cheese and let the cream cheese melt over medium heat, about 2-3 minutes, before stirring in. Mix gently until the cream cheese is incorporated throughout the meat mixture. In a large liquid measuring cup, combine the beef broth and milk. Whisk in the flour until the mixture is smooth and there are no lumps of flour remaining. 3.Stir the beef broth/milk mixture into the meat and cook over medium or medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Let the mixture bubble and simmer until slightly thickened, 3-4 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and add additional salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked egg noodles or hot, cooked rice. Sprinkle each serving with fresh parsley, if desired.

- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rapid boil. Cook egg noodles at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, 7 to 9 minutes. Drain and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, heat butter in a large saucepan or deep skillet over medium heat. Saute mushrooms, onion, and garlic until soft, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in ground turkey and cook until browned and no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes more. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook for 5 minutes. Mix in Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in soup, milk, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Add sour cream and stir until heated through. Serve over egg noodles.

- Brown turkey well in a large frying pan.
- When brown, add the brown gravy mix, water, herbs and pepper Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let slow boil for 15-20 minutes to thicken the sauce.
- (the sauce does have to thicken or it will be too watery and thin. You could use less water but this slow boiling keeps the turkey moist and adds the beef flavor to the turkey. If you do use the canned gravy, skip the 2-1/2 cups of water, but do add at least a cup) Add sour cream, mix well and serve.
- You can add mushroom, peas, onions or whatever to this.
- If I add onions and mushrooms, I usually saute them with the turkey.
- Serve over egg noodles, with a big salad and a slice of french bread.

- Mix flour and salt together in a mixing bowl, then pour onto a pastry board or counter top, making well in the middle.
- Mix eggs (or egg substitute) together with oil until smooth.
- Pour this egg mixture into the well in the flour in 4 parts, mixing together each time.
- Continue to knead the dough until smooth, (about 10 minutes).
- Cut into three parts and cover with cellophane.
- Allow to sit about 10 minutes.
- While dough is sitting, heat 2 tbsp butter in a large frying pan and add onions.
- Saute about 5 minutes or until they begin to wilt.
- Add the mushrooms and saute another 5 minutes.
- Set aside.
- Take 1 part of dough, and roll flat, leave about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut into noodles about 1/2 inch wide.
- Continue with rest of dough, and set noodles aside.
- Start a large pot of water boiling, (enough to submerge all the noodles).
- In same frying pan, melt 1 tbsp butter.
- Add minced garlic and allow to cook 5 minutes.
- Add beef, basil, pepper, and worcestershire sauce.
- Brown beef over medium-high heat, then add cream of mushroom and sour cream.
- Stir together until smooth and allow to boil.
- Upon boiling, reduce heat to a simmer.
- Water should be boiling, add noodles and allow to cook 5-10 minutes.
- Strain noodles and add to beef mix.
- Allow to cook another 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Serve, salt and pepper to taste.

Very similar to the beef stroganoff my mum made when I was little. No cream of mushroom soup here!! I use a good amount of beef broth, and often more sour cream, which makes it very saucy. But hey, I like it that way!

- Preheat a large dutch oven, and add olive oil. Brown the beef, in batches if you have to, setting aside in a bowl when browned.
- In the same dutch oven cook the green pepper and onions for one minute, adding more oil first if necessary. Add the sliced mushrooms, breaking them up of the pieces are too large. Cook for 2-4 minutes, until mushrooms are softened.
- Add the 3 cups beef broth, worchestershire sauce, paprika, thyme, and salt. Add the beef back into the pot. Broth should cover the beef.
- Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about an hour until beef is tender.
- Mix the flour and the 1/2 cup beef broth with a whisk until smooth. Add to the pot and stir until thickened. Add the sour cream, adjusting to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve over mashed potatoes. Or egg noodles if you must.

DELICIOUS BEEF STROGANOFF
I tired many recipes for beef stroganoff, I like this the BEST. I use ground beef in mine, but can easily be changed with steak strips if you prefer it that way.

- Melt the butter in a large pan over med-high heat. Stir in onions and cook until soft.
- Add the garlic and cook another minute or two.
- Add all the mushrooms, and salt and black pepper to taste. Cook 3-5 min, just so the mushrooms start getting a little soft.
- Now add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Mix in the beef stock and lemon juice, bring to a boil.
- Blend the flour and cold water in a small bowl until smooth. Now stir it in very quickly. The sauce should thicken. Cover and simmer for 5 minute.
- Remove from heat, and stir in sour cream.
- Serve over egg noodles.

This original recipe came from an A.1. steak sauce recipe my dad used to make for a simple beef stroganoff. I tweaked it a bit to make it a little more healthy with ground turkey. I know A.1. is hardly a traditional stroganoff ingredient, but it really works out and tastes great! NOTE: If you want your stoganoff sauce to be thinner, add chicken stock or water.

- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp canola oil and butter.
- Add sliced onions and mushrooms, cook until onions are soft and mushrooms are slightly brown, add salt and pepper, remove from pan and keep warm.
- Add remaining canola oil and add ground turkey. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and thyme. Cook until turkey is no longer pink. Add A.1. sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
