TURTLE BROWNIE COOKIES
Steps:
- HEAT oven to 350 degrees F. Spray cookie sheets with no-stick cooking spray. Combine flour, brownie mix, water, oil and egg in large bowl; blend well. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Arrange 5 pecan pieces under each to resemble head and legs of turtle.
- BAKE 8 to 12 minutes or until top of cookies appear almost set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool 2 minutes or until completely cooled.
- COMBINE caramels and 1 tablespoon water in small saucepan; cook and stir over low heat until melted and smooth, adding enough additional water for desired drizzling consistency. Stir in powdered sugar until smooth. Spoon over cookies. Let stand until frosting is set. Store cookies between sheets of waxed paper in tightly covered container.
- High Altitude (above 3500 ft.):
- INCREASE flour to 3/4 cup. Bake at 375 degrees F for 9 to 13 minutes.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar using a stand mixer or hand mixer.
- Add in eggs and vanilla extract and beat until combined.
- Beat in cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Use a spoon or rubber spatula to stir in flour until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Scoop out about two tablespoons of the cookie dough and roll into a ball and place on prepared pans. Repeat with remaining dough until you have 24 cookies. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place unwrapped caramels and heavy cream into a microwave safe bowl. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir, and microwave again for 30 seconds. Continue until caramel is completely melted and smooth.
- Once the cookies are out of the oven drizzle with caramel and let cool completely on a wire rack.

These are BY FAR the BEST brownies I have ever tried!! They are easy to make and SO good--way better than the box!!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Grease 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter.
- Stir in sugar, vanilla and eggs.
- Stir in flour, cocoa and salt.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup pecans.
- Spread in prepared pan.
- Bake 35-40 minutes or until done.
- Heat milk and caramels in small saucepan over medium heat until caramels are melted and smooth.
- Melt remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips and oil in small saucepan over medium heat until chips are melted and smooth.
- Drizzle caramel in a diagonal pattern across warm brownies.
- Drizzle chocolate in the opposite direction over brownies.
- Top with more chips and remaining pecans. ENJOY!
