BIG DADDY'S APPLE COBBLER

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Lightly butter a 9 by 9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the apples, sugars, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, nutmeg and lemon. Add the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Add all the topping ingredients to a medium bowl and combine well with a wooden spoon, to form a batter. Dollop the batter in various spots on top of the apple mixture. The batter will spread as it bakes. Put the cobbler in the oven and bake until the apples are tender and the crust is colored, about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve with Ginger Whipped Cream.
- Add the cream and sugar to a medium bowl. Using a hand-held electric mixer, beat the cream until stiff peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes. Fold in the ginger. Cover and chill up to 4 hours before serving.

My husband doesn't normally like apples in his salad, but he really likes this. It has a nice mixture of ingredients and is very easy to make.

- In a small heavy saucepan, combine the flour and sugar. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly. CANDY APPLE SALAD
My grandmother gave me this recipe earlier today. I am not crazy about Apples, but loved this salad. I told my husband to hurry up and eat it before I eat too much. - Cut up the potatoes and boil them. When they've got about five minutes left, stick the eggs in the pot as well. They should be hard-boiled.
- Mix the mustard with the mayo and set it aside.
- When the potatoes and eggs are done, mash five of the potatoes and add the mayo mixture. Cut the other three potatoes into small pieces and add as well. Remove boiled eggs from shells and cut into slices. Add to salad.
- Chop the celery and apple into bite-sized pieces and add, with peas, to salad. Stir it all together, sprinkle paprika on top, and enjoy!
