8 tsp. soft margarine
4 tsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Fill bread slices with Singles to make 4 sandwiches.
  • Spread outsides of sandwiches with margarine; place on baking sheet.
  • Bake 8 min.; sprinkle with half the Parmesan. Turn sandwiches; sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. Bake 6 to 8 min. or until golden brown.

1 small onion, finely chopped
1 medium tomato, diced
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon salt
4 slices white bread

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven's broiler.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the onion, tomato, celery, bell pepper, cheese, chili powder and salt. Arrange slices of bread on a baking sheet or broiling pan. Top each one with 1/4 of the mixture, spreading out to the edges.
  • Broil for 4 to 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Watch closely to prevent burning. Serve immediately.

4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend
4 French bread rolls, partially split
2 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
4 lettuce leaves
1 large tomato, cut into 4 slices

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Add Italian seasoning to coating mix in shaker bag; shake gently to combine. Use to coat chicken as directed on package; place on foil-covered rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake 20 min. or until done (165ºF). Top with cheese; bake 2 min. or until melted.
  • Spread cut sides of rolls with mustard; fill with chicken, lettuce and tomatoes.

1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 loaf pumpernickel bread, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
1 cucumber, sliced
2 teaspoons dried dill weed
paprika

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, green onion, dry Italian dressing mix and mayonnaise.
  • 2. Spread a 1/8" layer of the cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread, and top with a slice of cucumber. Sprinkle with dill and paprika. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
2/3 cup grated monterey jack cheese
8 slices white bread (Use dense bread, such as Pepperidge Farm)
4 tablespoons melted butter

Steps:

  • Combine cheeses in a bowl.
  • Brush top side of each bread slice with melted butter. Flip 4 slices over, sprinkle with cheese and compact lightly with hand. Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  • Heat large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat for 1 minute.
  • Place 2 sandwiches in pan on the griddle. Weight them down with a round cake pan, pressing lightly. Leave cake pan on top and cook until first side is golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes. Flip sandwiches, press again with cake pan and cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
  • Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
  • Variations: Add one very thin slice of red onion, rings separated, while filling sandwiches. Or, add slices of very thinly sliced salami.

3 tablespoons finely shredded Manchego or Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
4 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and sliced

Steps:

  • Spread 3 tablespoons butter on 1 side of bread slices. Toast bread, butter side down, in a large skillet or electric griddle over medium-low heat until golden brown, 2-3 minutes; remove. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Manchego cheese, onion powder and remaining 3 tablespoons butter. In another bowl, combine cheddar, Monterey Jack and Gruyere. , To assemble sandwiches, top toasted side of 4 bread slices with sliced Brie. Sprinkle cheddar cheese mixture evenly over Brie.
