Everyone in our family loves this recipe, even the kids! It's so easy, and tastes great left-over, too. We serve it over rice.

1 (28 ounce) can canned stewed tomatoes
¼ cup white wine
6 cubes chicken bouillon
¼ cup dried onion flakes
½ teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
3 pounds turkey thigh meat, cubed

Steps:

  • Pour tomatoes and wine into slow cooker. Stir in bouillon cubes, onion flakes, lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and thyme; add turkey.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours until the turkey meat pulls apart easily.

I got this on another site, but don't remember which one. It is a really good and easy and healthy recipe that uses a crock pot with excellent results. Good enough for company. Great with a crusty bread and green salad.

2 (15 ounce) cans cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained, I use Muir Glen Fire Roasted Tomatoes
1 (14 ounce) can quartered artichokes, drained
1 onion, small, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 lbs skinless boneless turkey breasts
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 cups dry white wine

Steps:

  • Place beans, tomatoes with their juice, artichokes, onion and garlic in slow cooker.
  • Lay turkey breasts on top.
  • Sprinkle with sage, rosemary, black pepper and salt.
  • Pour white wine over top.
  • Cover.
  • Cook on low for 5-7 hours.

Turkey legs taste great prepared with the oil alone or with the oil and seasonings both. A flavorful option is to use the oil with parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme as seasonings. You may make gravy with the drippings or use it as turkey broth in soup and other recipes. The broth is especially good in Progresso BestLife lentil soup to which you also add some leftover turkey and some turkey ham cubes. An oval slow cooker is easiest fit for turkey legs. Put an oval rack under legs and watch cooking time if you want firmer legs, often separate from broth.

1 tablespoon coconut oil, extra virgin, for 200 degree heat maximum
1 -2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
1/2-1 teaspoon garlic salt (optional)
1 teaspoon seasoning salt (optional)
1 1/2-2 tablespoons fresh herbs, mixed chopped (or to taste)
1 tablespoon coconut oil, extra virgin, for 200 degree heat maximum to coat inside of crockpot

Steps:

  • Place an oval meat rack in a slow cooker lightly coated with 1 tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil for 200 degrees maximum heat.
  • Brush legs lightly with 1 tbsp.liquified extra virgin oil.
  • Mix seasonings together and sprinkle over turkey legs.

1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Steps:

  • Mix chicken broth, wine and poultry seasoning together in a crock pot, and place turkey pieces in liquid.

1 cup white wine
1 medium apple, chopped
1/2 cup sliced fennel bulb
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped carrot
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 package (3 pounds) frozen boneless turkey breast roast, thawed
2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup half-and-half cream

Steps:

  • In a 6-qt. slow cooker, combine the wine, apple, fennel, celery, carrot, garlic, mustard and bay leaf. In a small bowl, combine the rosemary, thyme, sage and pepper; rub over turkey. Add turkey to slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender., Remove meat to a serving platter and keep warm. Strain drippings into a measuring cup to measure 1 cup. Skim fat. In a small saucepan, combine cornstarch and cream; stir until smooth. Gradually add drippings. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with turkey.
