- Arrange the chicken breasts in crock pot.
- Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
- Top each piece of chicken with a cheese slice.
- Layer if necessary.
- Combine soup and milk and stir well.
- Spoon over mixture over chicken and cheese.
- Mix butter with stuffing mix.
- Sprinkle chicken with stuffing mix.

Pour and evenly spread this mixture out over the chicken and cheese. In a larger bowl mix the melted butter into the dry stuffing until combined well. Top the chicken and cheese with this stuffing. Place lid on top and cook for 6 hours on low or 3 hours on high. *If you have a slow cooker where the crock is removable, put it in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes or until the stuffing on top is a bit crispy. - If using potatoes, wash, peel, and slice. Reserve.
- Season chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- Add olive oil to a pan and once hot, brown chicken breast for 4 minutes on each side. Reserve chicken and pan juices.

- In skillet cook bacon until crispy, remove and crumble. set aside.
- Add potatoes to crockpot.
- Add chicken to crockpot.
- Add garlic, onion, carrot and soup to crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
- Remove individual pieces of chicken to plates along with vegetables and place one slice of cheese on each piece of chicken.
- sprinkle bacon on top of cheese.

CROCK POT CHICKEN AND HAM WITH SWISS
I have always loved chicken cordon bleu, but wanted a way to combine the flavors in an easy crock pot recipe. I actually used frozen chicken and ham in mine. I think the flavor turned out pretty good, but when I made this I thought the sauce was too thin, and I wasn't able to get it totally smooth. Any suggestions would be great!

SWISS CHICKEN
This is a wonderful recipe. This was given to our family years ago by a good friend through the Boy Scouts. My brother would eat it all if he was allowed to and now my children who are both little love this dish. For people on a low budget this is an easy meal to make and it is easy to reheat. My mother, who does not eat chicken, loves the topping of this dish.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C).
