CROCK POT SAUSAGE POTATO SOUP

Steps:

• Put everything in your crock pot EXCEPT your milk and cheese
• Gently mix it up
• Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 3-4 hours
• When you have an hour left, stir in your milk
• Serve with cheese sprinkled on top, if desired

CROCK POT - SAUSAGE POTATO SOUP

Steps:

• Brown sausage and onion in a skillet. Drain well.
• Place potatoes, celery and carrot in bottom of crock pot. Add sausage and onion mixture. Pour chicken broth over vegetables and sausage.
• Turn crock pot to low and cook 4 to 5 hours.
• During the last 5 minutes of cooking add evaporated milk and cheddar cheese. Do a taste test for salt and pepper and add, if needed.
• Note: If a thicker soup is desired, add -- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoons of cold water.
• Serve and enjoy!

CROCKPOT POTATO AND SAUSAGE SOUP

Steps:

• Cook onion, butter, garlic, celery and sausage in a frying pan until onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
• Add all ingredients, except tomatoes and cornstarch, to the crockpot. Cook 4-5 hours on high or 8 hours on low or until potatoes are tender.
• Stir in tomatoes with juices and cornstarch and cook 10 minutes more.
• Discard bay leaf and season with salt & pepper to taste. Serve with sour cream if desired.

POTATO SAUSAGE SOUP

Steps:

• In heavy skillet, on med heat, cook sausage until browned.
• Add celery, onions, and carrots;,cook and stir for 2 minutes.
• Add thyme, basil and salt.
• Add flour and stir until mixed.
• Slowly add the chicken broth and water, stirring until the mixture comes to a boil.
• Add potatoes; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
• Puree 2 cups of the soup in a blender, (careful, it's hot).
• Return the pureed soup to pot and add milk and peas.
• Cook until the peas are hot, about 5 minutes.

CROCK POT SAUSAGE AND POTATOES

Steps:

• Grease crock pot.
• Combine sausage, potatoes, onions and seasonings in crock pot.
• Mix together soup and milk; pour over ingredients in crock pot.
• Stir together.
• Cook on low 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

CROCK POT POTATO AND SMOKED SAUSAGE SOUP

Steps:

• Pour chicken broth in crock pot.
• Add can of mushroom soup and mix well with broth.
• Peel and dice potatoes, add to crock pot.
• Dice onion and saute in skillet with butter until soft.
• Slice smoked sausage and then quarter.
• Add to onion.
• Cook until smoked sausage is hot.
• Add to crock pot.
• Cook on high for 4 hours.
• Before serving, lower heat and add milk and cheese. Stir in cheese until melted.
• Mix cornstarch with a small amount of water. Mix until smooth. Add to soup to help thicken.
