1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 cup water
1/4 cup flour

Steps:

  • Place meat in crockpot and cover with sliced onion.
  • Combine garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, paprika and mustard Stir in water, mix well, and pour over meat.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Turn control to high.
  • Dissolve flour in a small amount of cold water and stir into meat mixture.
  • Cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Serve over noodles or rice.

1 can (6 oz) Muir Glen™ organic tomato paste
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon caraway seed, if desired
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup cold water
3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 medium green bell pepper, cut into strips
8 cups hot cooked noodles

Steps:

  • In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef in oil about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.
  • Spray 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, place beef and onion. In medium bowl, mix broth, tomato paste, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, caraway seed and pepper; stir into beef mixture.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours (or High heat setting 4 to 5 hours) or until beef is tender.
  • In small bowl, stir water and flour until well mixed; gradually stir into beef mixture. Stir in bell pepper. Increase heat setting to High. Cover; cook 30 minutes longer. Serve goulash over noodles.

2 pounds beef chuck roast, cubed
1 large onion, diced
½ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons Hungarian sweet paprika
½ teaspoon dry mustard
1 ¼ cups water, divided
¼ cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Place beef in slow cooker, and cover with onion. In a medium bowl, stir together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, paprika, mustard, and 1 cup water. Pour mixture over beef and onions.

1 green bell pepper (seeded and diced)
2 cups tomato basil pasta sauce
8 oz tomato sauce
15 oz diced tomatoes
1 cup water
1 teaspoon herb and garlic seasoning
6 oz pasta noodles

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef and add to slow cooker
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients except pasta which we will add toward the end
  • Cover and cook 2-3 hours on high or 4-6 on low (can let simmer on low up to 8 hours)
  • Add the pasta in the last 30-45 minutes and be prepared to eat right away when it's done so it doesn't get too soft from overcooking

2 medium onions (chopped)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
6 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 cup water (hot)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup water (cool)
3 tablespoons flour
16 ounces noodles (cooked)

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef in skillet.
  • Place browned beef in crock pot.
  • Add onion to skillet and saute until it is tender (about 5 minutes).
  • In a bowl mix worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and vinegar, mustard and salt.
  • Add this mixture to meat with one cup of water.
  • Stir and cover.
  • Cook for 4 hours low.
  • Stir in brown sugar and cook for 1 hour more on low.
  • Blend flour with remaining 1/2 cup of cool water and add to meat mixture.
  • Stir until thickened.
  • Serve over noodles.

1 bay leaf
1 cup sour cream
Hot cooked egg noodles

5 cups onions, thinly sliced
1 1/3 tablespoons sugar
