Crispy Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips Food

CRISPY AIR FRYER SWEET POTATO CHIPS

Steps:

• Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
• Thinly slice the sweet potato (as thin as a regular potato chip), using a mandoline, if possible. Rinse the slices in cold water and pat dry.
• Lightly coat the slices with olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. Lay them out in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook in batches, rather than crowd the basket.
• Air fry at 350°F for about 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, shake the basket and space out the chips again. Watch the chips closely, checking every other minute, so they don't burn and remove them as soon as a little bit of brown starts to appear on the chips. They might still be a little flexible; they'll crisp as they cool.
• Place on a cooling rack for a few minutes to cool and crisp up.

SWEET POTATO CHIPS IN THE AIR FRYER

Steps:

• Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
• Place sweet potato slices in a large bowl. Stir in avocado oil, evenly coating each piece. Add Creole seasoning, stirring to combine. Place slices in a thin layer on the bottom of the air fryer basket.
• Cook in the preheated air fryer for 7 minutes. Shake slices and turn to allow for even cooking. Continue cooking until desired crispness is achieved, about 6 more minutes. Transfer potato slices to a rack and allow to cool.

AIR FRYER SWEET POTATO CHIPS

Steps:

• Preheat air fryer to 360°F.
• Rinse and scrub sweet potatoes. Slice the ends off of each sweet potato.
• Using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife, thinly slice the sweet potatoes into rounds (approx. 1/32").
• Place the sweet potato slices into a mixing bowl. Add oil and salt. Toss to coat.
• Spread the sweet potato slices in one even layer (working in batches if need be) in your air fryer basket or tray.
• Air fry at 360°F for 20 minutes, shaking/flipping halfway through, until the they are crispy and turning golden.
• Let cool and enjoy!
