This party mix is like your favorite snacks and dip all in one bowl. Kellogg's® Crispix® Cereal and pretzel sticks are coated with a buttermilk, onion and chive mixture to make the ideal snack.

1 (1 ounce) package dry French onion dip mix
3 tablespoons dry cultured buttermilk powder
2 tablespoons dried chives
8 cups Kellogg's® Crispix® cereal
2 cups pretzel sticks
3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

Combine French onion dip mix, powdered buttermilk and chives. Set aside.
In 2-gallon zipper-type storage bag, combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal and pretzels. Pour oil over cereal mixture. Close bag and gently toss until evenly coated. Add French onion dip mixture and close bag. Gently toss until evenly coated. Store in airtight container.

1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup raisins

Steps:

1. Combine KELLOGG'S CRISPIX cereal, pretzels and peanuts in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set aside.2. In small saucepan, combine margarine and peanut butter. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring to coat evenly.3. Bake at 350°F about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven. Stir in raisins. Spread on paper towel to cool. Store in airtight container.

Bake for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool.

This is similar to the Chex mix but I actually like it a little better. The original recipe calls for garlic and onion salt instead of powder and salted nuts, but I find that too salty.

Steps:

Preheat oven to 250°F.
Melt butter in 9x13-inch pan in oven. Remove from oven and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
Add cereal, nuts, and pretzels stirring until coated.
Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
Microwave directions combine ingredients as above, placing in a glass container and microwave on full power 4 minutes stirring after 2 minute
Cool as above.
